[Self-Improvement Poem] With a 'For You' Spirit
I opened my blue vertical planner
It was packed with appointments,
just like a JR train car at 7:00 AM
As I checked each appointment one by one,
I pictured the faces of the people involved
That is because
a mentor I respect told me this
It is not about waiting for others, but deciding on a time and starting on time that truly leads to 'respecting other people's time.'
There is no one around a person who only talks about themselves, themselves, themselves
But
there is always someone around a person who talks about you, you, you
I reached for the white receiver and held it to my right ear
"Hello, this is Yanase from Sato Bussan."
"Oh, Yanase-san! Thank you so much for always calling right on time! It makes it easier for us to work, and we really appreciate it!"
Working with a 'For You' spirit is wonderful, isn't it?
The client was happy 😄
