Why does "Self-Help Sommelier: Moved by Words" write articles about self-improvement?

Good evening, everyone.
Thank you very much for stopping by among so many options.

Thanks to all of you, it has been about half a year since I started note.
I am truly grateful to you always.
So, this time, including some past stories, I will talk about "Why I write articles about self-improvement."

Originally, I was someone who had no interest in self-improvement.

I am surprised myself that I have become this interested in self-improvement.
And that is only natural.

*️⃣Because until then, I didn't even read one book a year.

I was a very ordinary salaryman who went to the office and did my job.
I have always loved my work, and that feeling has not changed even now.
However, because that feeling was too strong, there was a part of me that neglected my family.
Such days continued.

However, a certain trigger changed me significantly.

At one point, I suddenly thought, "Is it okay to go on like this?"

There were 2 triggers.

The 1st was"being blessed with a new life"
The 2nd was"my performance at work being extremely poor"

When I found out about the 1st one, I was truly happy.
I still remember the feeling of finally becoming a "parent" myself.
And at the same time, I also thought about this.

✳️[What can I teach my child?]

Is it okay to keep neglecting my family like this?
Isn't it wrong to have days filled only with work?
How should I teach my own experiences to my child?

The conflict continued.

And the 2nd one was that my performance at work during this period was extremely poor.
It was the worst performance I had ever experienced.
I was far below the average score within the company...
Since I loved my work, it was a shock at the same time...

I was struggling with this as well.

So, I happened to stop by a bookstore.
And as if drawn to it,I picked up a certain self-help book.

Then, the concepts within me began to change rapidly.
I still don't forget it.
And this emotion welled up inside me.

[If I could do this, my life would change significantly]

After being convinced of that, my life began to change significantly.

Days spent solely on reading and outputting content

First, here is what my life used to be like:

*️⃣ Working 30-40 hours of overtime a month was the norm.
Days spent working past regular hours.
(By the way, the average overtime in Japan is 20.8 hours, according to the recruitment agency doda).
*️⃣ Days spent only on work, neglecting my family.
*️⃣ My performance at work was also mediocre...

That was my situation.

However, I began to change like this.

✳️ Now, I have almost zero overtime. I leave work on time.
I spend time reading for pleasure and with my family before and after work.
✳️ I enjoy raising my children.
I go for walks, read picture books, and play with toys with them.
✳️ My performance and evaluations at work have improved.
Specifically:
✅ I achieved 1st place in an internal company competition.
✅ The materials I created were adopted as the representative example for the entire company.
✅ My boss keeps sending me more work requests.
✅ I act as an advisor for new projects.
✅ I have even been appointed as an observer in meetings from among many employees.

I am surprised myself.
Why did this happen?
The answer is
✅【It was just days of reading and outputting the content. Repeating the process of trying and correcting. That is what produced such great results.

Of course, I didn't get results from the start.

However,
✳️I will absolutely change‼️
I continued with that feeling.

Then, the results started to follow rapidly.

From there, this feeling was born within me.

Books are amazing❗️I didn't know they could change a person this much❗️

It was at this moment that I truly realized they lead me to worlds I didn't know.

From then on, I started reading one book every day.

I want to learn something every day
This joy is irreplaceable.
In this way, reading and outputting became essential to my life.

I want to share my self-improvement journey on note

When those days of reading one book a day and outputting continued, I suddenly thought this:

✳️Couldn't I use the knowledge I have to help Japan?

The average number of books read by Japanese people per year is 12-13 (according to the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology).
In other words, there is a current situation where most people do not read.
And when I learned that, I made this resolution:

I want to deliver self-improvement content in an easy-to-understand and fun way for people who don't read books.

Originally, I have always liked teaching people things.
That's when I learned about the existence of note.
I can deliver self-improvement to everyone in my own way.
I was convinced of that, and so I started.

In other words, the reason I deliver articles to everyone is

🈁 Perhaps there are others who are struggling with the same issues.
There may also be people who, like my former self, have no interest in self-help.
Therefore, I want to deliver self-help in an easy-to-understand and enjoyable way, even for those who don't read books.
And I hope that through these articles, you can resolve your worries or become interested in self-help.

That is the driving force behind writing these articles.

In conclusion

I believe there are still areas where I am inexperienced.
However, I would be happy if you could know that these thoughts are behind my daily articles, and I hope for your continued support.

Thank you very much for reading my story to the end.
I look forward to your continued support.
