[Parenting] The Dyson Theory: Babies Attract the Elderly

When I'm out with my baby, I feel like some people say unnecessary things. I'm happy to be spoken to normally, though.

The one that gave me the biggest goosebumps by far was:
👴 "Are you breastfeeding?! I can tell just by looking at your chest! I can tell!"

Shut up! Before you look at my chest, go pick up your ball and get back to your game!
Your gateball buddies are waiting for you behind you, aren't they?!
(Sorry for my foul language)

An old man with his eyes on my chest and a smirk on his face.
So, this is the kind of gaze that women with large breasts are constantly subjected to. To put it mildly, it's creepy.
(I'm not one of those people, just so you know. Read between the lines.)

And it's not just this old man; for some reason, I keep getting asked the "formula or breast milk" question.

I suppose the grandmas are asking with the same casual mindset as saying, "Nice weather today, isn't it? By the way, what was on sale at the supermarket?"

But for a postpartum mom with a fragile mental state, or one whose hormones are making her as irritable as a Tefal pan, this question is quite tough.

Whether it's breast milk or formula,
I really think either is fine.

Even though I truly feel that way,
for some reason, after giving birth, you tend to feel like you "want to breastfeed as much as possible" (at least I did),
so it's a very delicate topic that many people struggle with.

Also, there are people who want to touch the baby way too much, right?
I don't mind it that much, but given the current times, many people don't like it, and it's hard to refuse.

For moms who want to avoid such annoying interactions, here's a tip! Dye your hair in a flashy color! Make it super flashy!
(Suddenly, the Sound Hashira appears)

"Come to think of it, I've never had blonde hair,"
I thought, and after my first son was born, I took the plunge and got highlights.

I have a round, baby-faced look.
It's quite presumptuous of me to say this myself, but if you had to choose between a sophisticated look or a cute look, I'm definitely in the cute category.
(Not that I'm actually cute, just talking about the style.)

In other words, I have an approachable vibe.
When I go to places like Osaka, people talk to me all the time.

But you know what? The moment I got highlights, not only did people stop talking to me, they wouldn't even make eye contact. I was so surprised.
It really made me realize that appearance is important. Or rather, appearance, or maybe the vibe you give off.

By the way, I'm about to return to work, so my hair is a more subdued color &
because I haven't been to the salon, it's naturally fluffy, so people are talking to me again. I actually quite like being spoken to, so that's fine!

If flashy hair isn't for you, but you don't want people touching your child, I'll give you some magic words!

"Oh, I'm so sorry! This baby just had a bowel movement and it might be leaking, so it smells really bad! (Lie)"

The key is to sound apologetic and flustered. Your acting skills will be put to the test! If you say this, they'll pull their hands back immediately, so you can get away almost 100% of the time.

So, with that said,
appearance is 100% of the impression, so moms who don't want to be touched, escape with poop talk. This will be on the test!
