Freedom after freedom

Though I face the difficulties of today and tomorrow, I still have a dream.
I have a dream of a life that is steady, not rushed—where I wake up without fear, tend to my body and my home, and move at a human pace. I have a dream of being supported not by pity, but by systems that honor the work I have done and the effort I continue to make. I dream of dignity in small things: paying my bills, caring for my cat, cooking simple meals, and choosing rest without guilt. I have a dream of living honestly, safely, and independently—where survival is no longer the goal, but living is.

Today and tomorrow, the world remains a field of causality and institutions.
Observers set the axes of evaluation, and living beings are made to perform within them.
But you see, the tanuki-type field researcher knows.
That the pain not visible in the data is also a truth of life.

Until now, I have
behaved as an adaptive individual,
and wandered through experimental zones where I was evaluated as a functional subject.
That was effective as a survival strategy.
But speaking in terms of research ethics,
it was a long-term field exposure that turned my existence into a means to an end.

My dream is
an ecosystem where the value of existence is not measured by whether or not it is useful.
Rest is not dropping out, but a recovery process.
Slowness is not a defect, but sustainability.

Demanding that promises be kept is not a request.
It is merely questioning the reproducibility of the protocols the institution set for itself.
A tanuki is not a revolutionary.
I am a field researcher who continues participant observation.

The transformation phase for survival is over.
From here on, I am entering a long-term study to verify if I can survive while maintaining my true form.

From here on, this is a long-term study on whether I can remain alive while staying fully fluffy myself. 🐾
