90% of Resellers Don't Know This! How to Earn 100,000 Yen a Month Through Domestic Sourcing on Mercari
Once you have acquired the skills to sell using
zero-cost sourcing,
it is finally time to move on to domestic sourcing.
This is because,
even if you can aim for 50,000 yen a month with zero-cost sourcing,
the profit per item is small,
so it is realistically difficult to earn 100,000 yen a month.
If you thought,
“What is zero-cost sourcing?”
then
I have explained it completely in the “Part 1 and Part 2” series,
so please take a look at those first.
To significantly increase your profits,
you must be conscious of your “profit margin.”
For products with high profit margins,
you have no choice but to actually source and sell them.
However,
many of you may be wondering,
“Where should I actually source products from to sell?”
So, from here on,
I will explain where you should source products from to sell.
Generally, if you want to source products,
you will choose from existing platforms.

However,
there is a big pitfall here...
The platforms that everyone is using
have too many rivals, meaning you cannot maintain a competitive advantage.
To give you an example,
let's say you find a product
that looks like it will sell.
Then you wonder, will it really be profitable?
So you do various research
while looking at Mercari's sales history.
While you are hesitating like that,
other resellers will snatch it up.

It is an undeniable fact that,
in the world of reselling, “first come, first served” is the norm.

Of course,
since you are busy with work and housework,
you cannot stay glued to your computer
watching it all the time...
That is exactly why
you need to develop
your own sourcing channels!
However,
even if you want to develop sourcing channels,
it is not that easy, is it?
It is almost impossible
for someone to let you use a special sourcing channel
that is not available to the general public.
Many of you might be thinking,
“Then what should I do?”
but please rest assured.
The method I am introducing this time
will teach you about a hidden gem of a sourcing channel
that 90% of resellers do not know about.
That is the
“Makaseru Purchase”that I introduced last timewith zero-cost sourcing.

I actually tried it myself,
and just by running the Plan B purchase,
in justone month, I had 690,000 yen in sales with an average purchase price of 2,700 yen.

In terms of net profit, it is a profit of 326,428 yen. The profit margin is an astonishing
47.1%, which I think is an impeccable figure.

However, since I think 300,000 in profit is a bit of a high hurdle to start with, I will explain how you should act to achieve a monthly profit of 100,000.
You will also learn about the mindset for achieving goals, so I hope you find this helpful.
Just with the Plan B purchases introduced this time, the monthly
sales were 690,000, and the purchase unit price was 2,700 yen, but

However, this includes products other than Plan B, so here is the breakdown for Plan B only ↓

Regarding sourcing, the prorated amount per item is 826 yen.
The profit is 296,220 yen against sales of 619,270 yen.
Even after deducting fees, shipping costs, etc., the profit margin is 47.83%, which means that nearly half remains in your pocket.
First, let's calculate the profit per Plan B item.

・Average selling price → 3,035 yen
・Fees (10%) → 303 yen
・Shipping (average) → 453 yen
・Average purchase price → 826 yen
・Profit → 1,453 yen
If you sell one Plan B item, the calculation is that 1,453 yen remains in your pocket.
Based on this figure, if you were to aim for 100,000 yen per month, you would need to sell
69 items.

Now, next, let's calculate how many items you need to list in order to sell 69 items.
Assuming a sell-through rate of 30%, listing 230 items will achieve 100,000 yen per month.

Next, let's calculate how many boxes of Plan B you need to order to list 230 items.
According to the official Makaseru formula, Plan B contains 20 to 40 items per box, and the purchase price is 20,000 yen per box.
Let's calculate assuming there are 20 items in one box.
If you are listing 230 items, dividing by 20 items per box means you should order 12 boxes.
If you order these 12 boxes, you need 240,000 in capital at 12 boxes × 20,000 yen.

All that's left is to list the items that arrive at your own pace.
If you list 230 items per month, you need to list 7.6 items per day, and if you list 230 items over two months, you need to list 3.8 items per day.

You just need to set a listing count that you can achieve.
A point of caution here is that in product sales, money goes out for sourcing first, so it takes time to recover it.
I have prepared this graph to explain it clearly using the Plan B example from earlier.

The horizontal axis is the date, and the vertical axis is the profit.
Since I did all the sourcing on the first day, I am starting from a deficit of nearly 400,000.
By consistently listing items every day,
they will sell steadily.
It was on the 18th day that I recovered all of my initial investment.
By accumulating profits for the remaining days,
you can make a profit of nearly 300,000 yen using just Plan B.
As you can see, in reselling,
when you purchase and sell items,
there is always a phase where you recover your investment.
For the first 18 days,
your cash flow is negative
due to recovering the investment, right?
In other words,
during this period, it is calculated that you have no profit left on hand.
When engaging in reselling,
to avoid running out of cash,
you need to have a deep understanding of the speed of cash recovery.
This cash recovery speed
also fluctuates depending on the sell-through rate.
First, let's calculate the sell-through rate
that served as the basis for this graph.
The number of items listed was 781,
and the number of items sold was 204.
The sell-through rate is
204 items ÷ 781 items = 26.1%.
It is calculated that roughly one item sells for every four listed.
Now then,
what would happen if
only half, or 102 items, were sold
instead of 204?
The sell-through rate in that case
would be 102 items ÷ 781 items = 13.1%.
If we assume that profits simply decrease by half,
the graph would look like this.

The blue graph is the 26.1% sell-through rate graph,
and the red graph is the 13.1% sell-through rate graph.
Compared to the 18 days for cash recovery in the blue graph,
the cash recovery speed for the red graph isthe 23rd day.
That is a recovery delay of 5 days.
As you can see, you understand that
the speed of cash recovery changes depending on the sell-through rate, right?
In reselling, since investment funds often go out first,
make sure to remember that it takes time to recover them.
With the method introduced this time,
using just Plan B (purchase),
you can achieve sales of 690,000 yen in just one month like this,

and 730,000 yen the following month!!

And it is possible to increase sales
to 830,000 yen the month after that.

When sales reached 690,000 yen,
the profit remaining on hand was 326,428 yen,
and the profit margin is an astonishing47.1%.
Don't you think it's worth trying
if you can get results like this?
However, I will say it again,
we don't know when this advantageous service might disappear.

Please take action now
while such an easy-to-earn service is available.
Those who seize opportunities are always the ones who act immediately.
That concludes
my introduction to the method of
earning 100,000 yen a month by buying domestically.
Summarytime.
To significantly increase your profits,
it is important to actually purchase and sell products.
Generally, if you try to source products,
there are too many rivals, so you cannot maintain an advantage.
Therefore,
you need to develop sourcing channels that suit you.
The secret sourcing channel that 90% of resellers don't know is
Makaserupurchases.

If you are aiming for 100,000 yen per month,
order Plan B.

1,453 yen profit per item × sell 69 items!

Assuming a sell-through rate of 30%,
list 230 items.

If you are listing 230 items per month,
that is 7.6 listings per day.
If you do it over two months,
you will list 3.8 items per day.

By accumulating listings in this way,
it is possible to achieve 100,000 yen per month.
Even if
this Plan B purchase option were to disappear,
by using the method I shared this time to break down your actions into
daily listing counts, anyone can achieve their target amount.
Manage the metrics you can control yourself,
and let's earn 100,000 yen a month through reselling.
By stepping up from a Mercari beginner to
selling unwanted items, zero-cost sourcing, and domestic sourcing,
my students have also
consistently earned 100,000 yen a month,

and by applying what they learned,
achieved 400,000 yen a month,

and furthermore,
have even achieved a monthly profit of 1 million yen in less than a year.

Please
try the method I introduced this time
and make this way of earning money on Mercari your own.
With that said,
thank you
for reading until the end.
Also,
I will see you in the next delivery.
