To reiterate, last weekend, we held the Tokyo Makasell's massive warehouse in Heiwajima for the
**"Tokyo Makasell Flea Market"**!
Morning session: about 8 people Afternoon session: about 9 people
Inside the warehouse, everyone was opening boxes and saying,
"This is great!" "I'll take this!"
and they were filling their own boxes to take home with products one after another,
making it an incredibly lively space.
What made me happiest was,
that in addition to the students who always come,
general participants also came
I was truly happy about this.

Among the comments received after the event, this one was particularly impressive.
Wow, I was really happy about this.

and each of their boxes was packed to the brim.
Honestly, even I,

and I thought, 'This is definitely going to yield results~'

I don't really source items for myself.
My basic stance is,"the person in charge of filling everyone's boxes"

and keep putting them into the participants' boxes
That's how I do things.
But this time...
"No, I really want this for myself too..."
and so it happened. lol
I also ended up buying a lot of clothes for myself to wear.
Clothes that would cost 10,000 to 20,000 yen if bought at a regular store,
could be taken home for 1,500 yen.
There's really no reason not to do this, is there?
Moreover, I was just thinking,
I should probably replace my carry-on bag soon,
and then,
inside a box I opened,
there was a carry-on bag, of all things,
what a miracle. lol
I thought,
This must be fate, so of course I took it home immediately.
Like this,
being able to get incredibly good deals for yourself
is one of the real thrills of the Makaself Flea Market.
There was also a 100-yen & 0-yen corner, making it feel like a treasure hunt.
At this flea market, not only were there clothes, but themiscellaneous goods cornerwas also quite substantial.
Inside the cardboard boxes,
there were so many small items and miscellaneous goods packed in, it was unbelievable.
There were even price tags saying "Please take it for 100 yen per item"
Some items were even marked "Free to take home"...!
Anyway,
It was in a state where "the more you dig, the more you find,"
it really felt like a treasure hunt.
It's not just about sourcing. "Connections with people" are the greatest value
There is one more point that made me happy this time.

that a lot of interaction was generated between participants
After the morning session ended,
students went to lunch together
or went out for dinner after the event
and there were flows like going from "Nice to meet you" to "Let's go sourcing together next time"

The next one is scheduled for around January 24th and 25th of next year.
We'll be taking a break for the rest of the year, but we'll be back in Tokyo after the new year.

This time we did itcompletely free of charge, but to be honest...
When it's free, the travel expenses for me to go from Fukuoka to Tokyo every month are completely out of my own pocket. Haha.
Moreover, since I basically don't do any sourcing for myself while I'm there,

used for my travel expenses to Tokyo and costs to keep the event running,
