Recommended Outfits for Moms Who Are Unsure What to Wear to Graduation or Entrance Ceremonies

The 2019 school year has begun, and for those of you who have graduation or entrance ceremonies coming up, isn't it about time you started thinking about your preparations?
In the 8 years since opening MERCI, I have been proposing outfits to customers in the store, and I have compiled recommended outfits and styling tips based on the questions I am asked most frequently during this season.
This year, I will also have a busy year with ceremonies, as my daughter is graduating from elementary school and entering junior high school.

Q. What kind of clothes should I wear to a graduation or entrance ceremony? Please tell me some recommended outfits!
When trying to dress formally, it is easy to end up choosing a safe suit.
In addition to that, if you choose muted colors, it is a shame that it inevitably ends up looking a bit plain...
Suits are fine, but if you want to stand out from the crowd, I definitely recommend a set-up.
There are two main reasons why set-ups are great.
1. It is easy to create a stylish outfit that is both formal and trendy!
Since it is a set-up, you don't have to think about difficult coordination; it looks stylish just as it is!
2. The top and pants can be worn separately, making them easy to mix and match!
Above all, the versatility after the graduation or entrance ceremony is different!
They are useful for various school events such as parent-teacher meetings, class observations, and social gatherings, as well as ceremonial occasions like weddings. You can also wear the top and bottom separately for everyday use.
Q. What colors should I choose for graduation or entrance ceremonies?
This is also a frequently asked question.
For graduation ceremonies, most people generally choose darker colors.
These are muted colors like black or navy.
For entrance ceremonies, in addition to the basic black or beige, many people choose brighter colors like white or beige.
However, these colors are not absolute, and other colors are not forbidden, so if you are worried, I recommend checking the atmosphere of the school you are attending with teachers or other mothers.
Casual clothing and overly flashy colors are not appropriate.
Q. Do I have to wear a jacket?
You don't have to wear one as long as your outfit is formal.
If the design exposes too much skin, you will need something to cover up.
If you are not going to wear a jacket, I recommend choosing a top with sleeves.
Q. Please tell me about recommended accessories to match with a set-up and tips for styling.
A simple trick to look polished is to coordinate the colors of your clothes and shoes in one tone.
By doing this, the outfit will look well-coordinated and elegant.
For your bag, instead of a casual fabric one,
choosing one made of high-quality material like leather will give you a more elegant finish.
For accessories, if you wear items like pearls or diamonds
that are not too flashy,
