The iPad mini 'writing' environment is a set with the HHKB

In this note introducing my purely hobbyist gadgets, although the iPad mini 7 suddenly appeared the other day making my old model obsolete, I plan to keep using my iPad mini 6 for quite some time. I will introduce the gadgets and apps that make up my 'writing' environment.

The iPad mini 6 is at the center

My weekend walks are times for thinking in different environments like libraries or cafes. I use this time to draft notes, work on new projects, and have discussions with AI.

Apple Pencil (2nd generation)

The feeling of handwriting with a pen is very important. That is why the Apple Pencil is essential for me. I use GoodNotes 5 to store various ideas and notes by handwriting them.

iPad mini 6 case

I was looking for one that could store the Pencil, had a detachable cover, and covered the whole device. I arrived at this one. I have been using it for a long time and have had no issues.

Tablet stand

I arrived at this stand after looking for one specifically for portability. It is great that it becomes thin when stored.

Pen: Pentel Tradio Stylo

This pen is the one I use most often in real life. I carry black, red, and blue ones with me.

Keyboard: HHKB

Although it doesn't fit in my shoulder bag, I often carry an external keyboard. Since iPadOS 16.1, it has supported JIS layout external keyboards. I often connect it via wire.

It doesn't fit in the Manhattan Portage shoulder bag, but I love using this as well.
