A little magic for you today, 2/26

— Getting closer to the sky, on your own two feet —

During the three-day weekend,

I went to Gujo Hachiman Castle in Gifu Prefecture.

Even though I go to the castle town of Gujo quite often,

this was my first time climbing up to the castle.

There are two ways to get to the castle ☺️

• The road for cars is accessible to pedestrians, but it's a bit dangerous

• The shortcut for pedestrians only has steep stone steps and is physically demanding...

I took the shortcut this time (/ω・＼) peek

A slightly steep path leading up to the castle.

One step at a time, one step at a time.

As I climbed, treading firmly on the stone steps of the shortcut,

I could feel the sky getting closer and closer,

and it was so exciting 😆

It seems you can also go up by car!

I didn't know that, so I climbed up on foot this time.

I finally reached the castle tower.

Looking down at the scenery from there,

I couldn't help but take a deep breath.

“Wow, the city looks so small...”

I wonder how long it’s been since I looked at the world

from such a high place.

I realized for the first time

that I could see so far into the distance.

I really love moments like this 🩷

You know, I think something.

It’s not just about being in a high place,

but because I climbed up step by step on my own two feet,

that’s why this view looks so sparkling.

Because I worked hard to climb up,

I was able to encounter this "rewarding view".

There was a shop, and eating while looking at the view

The soft-serve ice cream was also exceptional (*˘︶˘*).｡.:*♡

Things you can see

because you reached them on your own.

If the town looks small from the castle,

then perhaps the worries you are carrying now

are just tiny fragments

in this vast world.

……When you feel a bit stuck,

doesn't your heart feel a little freer if you think, "Let's go somewhere a bit higher up"?

🪄 If you change your perspective, your heart will become even wider.

Somewhere today,

I hope there is a moment where your heart feels a little softer.

Honestly, halfway up I was getting out of breath thinking, 'Are we there yet...?' (lol)

But that feeling of excitement the moment the view suddenly opens up,

is a kind of magic that only those who walk the path can experience🤣

(It was really tough~💦 Even though it felt like it was over in a flash on the way down.)

The atmosphere of the castle, where you can feel the history, was so refreshing!

My calves were sore the next day...

I guess I'm out of shape💦 lol
