This is the shape of my love☆

Hello, this is Megushi.

This time, I would like to write about
“Why I chose to be a freelancer.”

It also connects to the reason why I started one of my life's works called
“A Record of Embodying Love and Excitement.”

After graduating from university, I worked at a drugstore.

At that time, I didn't really have anything I wanted to do... or rather, I didn't really understand what I wanted, so

I chose it based on the simple idea that “demand will likely increase because it's becoming an aging society” ^^;

Since I chose it for that reason, of course it didn't last long...

After I quit the drugstore, I worked various jobs.

Thinking I should save money just in case I found something I wanted to do someday, I basically entered a life of chasing money by juggling part-time jobs and temporary agency work.

At times, I tried being a host, experienced failure with MLM, tried door-to-door sales on a full commission basis... and even got involved in businesses that required paying over 1 million yen to start, only for them to end without me doing much of anything..

I've always been curious, so I would start things, but since I had no core, none of them lasted long.. “What on earth do I want to do..” “I can't find my dream no matter how much time passes!”

While struggling with various things like that, I learned about the existence of internet business.

I thought, with this job, “I might be able to get the freedom I'm chasing☆”

Thinking that, I started with import/export product sales, and did various things like affiliate marketing. Although I had the experience of earning a decent amount, it didn't change the fact that I was chasing money, so these didn't last long either.

Here, I finally realized that in my case, trying to earn money doesn't give me any energy.

I was chasing money because I didn't want to be a slave to money, but I was struck by the realization that “that act itself had already made me a slave to money.”

While doing all that,
and while learning various things and digging deeper into myself,
I encountered this book,
and my way of thinking changed.

From now on,
I've decided that I will 'only do what excites me'.
I made that decision.

By doing what excites me,
I want to excite others too♪

I shifted my focus from 'money'
to 'excitement'.

Therefore,
I chose my current state as a freelancer,
starting with supply rather than demand.

It's a feeling of searching for people's needs
from within my own excitement☆

Honestly, sometimes I can earn money and sometimes I can't,
I've borrowed money or dipped into my savings,
and I don't have enough money or time to use freely,
so I haven't been able to do everything I want to do yet, but...

I don't do what I don't want to do,
I don't meet people I don't want to meet,

I am able to live a life like that^^

And the feeling of being in trouble for money has disappeared,
and somehow, it's been almost 7 years
since I filed my sole proprietorship registration.

It's better to have money, but
it's a state of being happy even without it^^

So,
I will continue to pursue excitement from here on out♪

Because I believe that doing so
becomes 'my love for myself',
and also leads to 'love for someone else'☆

Thank you for reading
until the end^^

For now, let's enjoy life today too♪
Following the voice of my heart☆
