[Fermentation x Medicinal Cooking x Spices] Warming up from the core with hot pot made from layered stew
[Fermentation x Medicinal Cooking x Spices] Warming up from the core with hot pot made from layered stew
Today, it's hot pot made from layered stew.

I used my usual layered stew as a base and added plenty of hot pot spices.
I added lots of warming ingredients like jujubes, goji berries, star anise, five-spice powder, doubanjiang, fish sauce, garlic, ginger, and green onions.
I kept the spiciness mild,
focusing more on the aroma that warms you from the core
rather than a stinging heat.
The ingredients include root vegetables, pork, tofu, and mushrooms.
It's well-balanced in nutrition
and very satisfying.
I started to break a gentle sweat while eating,
and the feeling of warmth lasted even after I finished.
On cold days, this kind of hot pot is definitely the best.
