Decluttering my things and my mind seems like it will bring good things
Hello.
I am currently doing a "major decluttering"
for my home renovation.
What I am feeling right now is that
more than the things,my feelings are the hard part
after all.
So this time,
I would like to write about“What if I declutter my mind?
”.
Too many things in the house...
If I don't do something about this first,
I can't even get to the renovation.
Throwing things away, tidying up.
It is difficult for me,
and it is not progressing very well.
“I'll just put this aside for now”
or “This can still be used”.
My hands keep stopping.
Before I know it,
“Should I throw this away? What should I do?”
takes up so much time,
and I end up thinking,
“I'll just do it next time.”
Furthermore, the other day,
my mother's 49th-day memorial service ended.
I also have to declutter my parents' house💦
When I find things like diaries,
I end up reading them and feeling regret all over again.
Seeing the dishes and belongings she used,
I remember her and my eyes well up with tears.
“I can't keep going on like this forever.”
I think so, and there are
often days when my heart feels heavy.
But instead of blaming myself for that,
though it is little by little,
“it's okay to stop for now”
I have come to be able to think that.
1. What is organizing the mind?
“Organizing the mind refers to the process of re-examining, arranging, and making it easier to accept the complex emotions, thoughts, worries, and stress that exist within oneself.”
(I asked Google 😊)
I see.
“Organizing” isn't just about throwing things away,
it's about
making things easier to acceptisn't it.
Inside the heart,
there are many past memories and emotions packed away.
While carrying all those various thoughts,
everyone is normally,
doing their best
to get through every day, aren't they.
When you carry too many thoughts,
and your heart is tired,
even tidying up things won't progress.
First,it is important to
“re-examine” your own heart.
2. Organizing naturally leads to positivity.
So, I started by
“organizing and re-evaluating”
.
I ask myself questions.
✔️ Is this really necessary for me right now?
✔️ What if letting go brings in a fresh breeze?
✔️ Couldn't I just stop thinking about so many things?
✔️ What if I just let it go and say, "That's enough"?
Then, strangely,
my heart gradually felt lighter.
Deciding what to keep and what to discard
became easier, and I was able to let go of things.
When I let go of feelings and things,
I gained confidence,
and I feel refreshed.
Then,
I began to think positively, "This might be okay."
3. You don't have to push yourself too hard
And another thing I value is
“not pushing myself too hard”.
When it comes to tidying and organizing, we often
tend to think, "I'll finish it all at once."
But that
is a very high hurdle.
When I'm tired, I decide to "do just one thing today" and
praise myself for doing it.
The mind is the same.
“I won't think about anything today”
decide that, and spend the day in a relaxed way.
“I am moving forward. I am doing just fine.”
Tell yourself this.
Keep building up small feelings of affirmation.
4. Believe in your subconscious and move forward
It takes courage to let go of
things you have kept until now.
Letting go is
not about blaming yourself, but
about cherishing yourself
I think.
When you cherish yourself,
strangely, your surroundings change little by little,
and I feel like things start to fall into place.
When the things surrounding you decrease,
your mind settles, and you feelat ease.
Your subconscious accepts the changes in your heart,
and it will change your surroundings
into a place of “peace of mind”.
When your surroundings change to “peace of mind,”
happy things will come your way,
and you will have good encounters.
In my case, for a little while now,
I had been vaguely thinking
that I wanted to buy a new car.
But just when I thought it could wait for now,
for some reason, suddenly,
I was able to
buy the car I liked ☺️
This is also a good encounter, isn't it?
When you re-examine yourself and
are kind to yourself,
"good things" happen!
In this frame of mind,
organizing things and the mind,
taking it slow is fine,
I want to keep moving forward.
If you, who are reading this,
are carrying something in your heart,
without fearing "letting go,"
look inside yourself and
give yourself peace of mind.
Tidying up,
and organizing your mind,
it's okay to take it slow and not rush.
It's okay to go at your own pace.
I would like to proceed gently, wouldn't you?😌
Thank you for reading✨
