Closing Remarks
Good evening, everyone.
I started writing this note suddenly, without a single follower.
Receiving notifications of likes and follows every day was a warm and happy experience. ☺️
I remembered why an acquaintance recommended note: 'There are only kind people on note, and if you keep at it, note will praise you!'

There were times when I would correct a published draft, thinking, 'Wait, is this phrasing wrong?'
Even though the field is limited, I learned firsthand what it means to have many people see what you write.
It is different from writing in my iPhone notes app that I don't share, or sending things to friends who calmly point out my mistakes.
I didn't know who would be reading, but I wrote with the intention of being sincere and writing what I wanted to write.
After writing, I would often remember, 'Oh! I forgot about that story. That's right...'
However, my writing is naturally long, so I decided not to add anything and just felt glad that I could remember my fun travels. ☺️
Was it Banana Yoshimoto who wrote that a predecessor once said, 'Anyone can write one book. Because if you write about your life, it becomes a book.'?
There are countless tools in the world, and I think what I was missing was just taking that first step.
But perhaps this was the perfect timing.
I'm glad I decided to start.
One small achievement builds confidence.
More than anything, I am happy that I didn't miss the voice in my head saying 'Now is the time!' and was able to follow my heart. ☺️
I wrote about how I, an ordinary office worker with no particular connection to overseas, came to travel abroad.
I wanted people to think, 'Oh, if I have the money for a passport, airfare, and accommodation, and I can take time off, and do some preparation, traveling abroad is actually quite easy.'
Of course, package tours are wonderful too.
Like being able to make friends with fellow travelers.
Traveling on your own schedule is also wonderful.
Whatever the method, fun things—and of course, unexpected things—are bound to happen.
With the weak yen, recession, war, and an increase in foreign tourists domestically, a tough era has arrived for travel lovers.
However, until a few years ago, I believed that 'I can go abroad anytime. As long as I have some money, can take time off, and have a valid passport.'
(To be precise, some countries require visas, and there are places in the world you can't go...)
Such baseless assumptions were completely shattered.
The 'norm' in the world is never a 'norm' forever.
When times and situations change, things that were 'normal' are no longer so.
If I am asked once more, 'Why do you go to XX so much?' (XX can be a specific country or region, or simply 'travel'), I want to answer immediately with a big smile.
'Because I love it!!' ☺️
I started this note on a whim, but this is the end of the past travel stories I wanted to tell.
I managed to clear the schedule I had vaguely planned at the beginning.

A professional acquaintance said, 'Current iPhones have very good features, so why not try taking photos with your iPhone first, and then think about buying a camera?' 📷
There were some trips where I didn't take many photos, so I had to scroll through my album to dig them up...
