[01-10] Mildly Under the Weather [ #ShimaSanpo ]

"Shima Sanpo" is a blog where
I, Maxima, have ChatGPT transcribe and organize
10 minutes of audio that I input via voice.

Posting has become a habit

This program itself is already around its 10th episode.

Even for things that aren't podcasts, I've been having ChatGPT transcribe and summarize my thoughts into text here and there—and I'm very happy that I've been able to make posting a habit like this.

Until now, I think my form of expression was tied to some kind of "medium," like "making a YouTube video" or "writing a note article," but with this current style, I can use audio, text, or even turn the podcast audio into a video and have people listen to it via YouTube.

I find myself thinking that it would be great if it could reach more people without being tied to a specific platform.

I suddenly remembered the story Horiemon mentioned in his book about "making Calpis concentrate."

The idea is to create your content with as little energy as possible, but keep it concentrated, and then deploy it in various places. That way, exposure increases and it's efficient.

It might be similar to that, but I think it would be good if I could create one piece of content through voice input and then deploy it across multiple media.

I intend to continue doing this audio radio show as well.

Podcasts aren't growing yet

However, there aren't many people around me doing audio-based things yet. I get the impression that podcasts themselves haven't really taken root, or that there are still many people who don't have the habit of listening to them.

Maybe there are listeners who feel like, "Listening to 10 minutes of audio is a bit much..." But in reality, the low view count might just be because it's not well-known yet.

The reason I include the audio is that I feel like relying solely on ChatGPT's transcription sometimes leads to a disconnect with my actual feelings. I keep the audio as a way to supplement that.

Adding links, Amazon affiliate links, movie reviews, embedding trailers into articles—everything is manual work right now.

I've heard that ChatGPT's paid subscription has a feature called "GPTs," which are customized automation tools for personal use. I have high hopes that I could incorporate this into my routine, but I haven't used it yet.

I'd like to try it out someday.

I want to keep going without pushing myself too hard.

I'd like to share my thoughts with as little waste as possible, and it would make me happy if someone out there thought, 'Oh, there's someone who thinks like that too.'

I often listen to things like YouTuber sub-channels or casual chat videos. Mostly from people in the gadget space.

So, I'd be happy if my own broadcasts could become a 'little bit of fun' for someone else.

It's not a heavy burden, and even if no one listened for a year, I personally think it's something worth doing in terms of archiving my thoughts.

I want to continue this activity in the future.

A new habit for June

I mentioned it a bit yesterday, but I'm thinking of adopting the habit of 'posting every day' in June.

This radio show, and my streaming activities too. If someone finds joy in what I do, isn't that a wonderful thing?

It's gotten a bit warmer today, but my brain just isn't working at all...

I woke up once during the night, and although I did get up properly and go for a walk this morning, I just didn't feel like doing anything. I spent Monday morning cleaning my room.

From the afternoon, I hope to get various things done based on the weekly schedule I had GPT help me create yesterday.

I had a drink with my dad last night, so maybe I still have a bit of a hangover. Also, my throat hurts a little, and I feel like I might be coming down with something due to the change of seasons.

A sluggish start to the week

So, it's a bit of a sluggish start to the week today, but—everyone, please take care not to get sick, and let's do our best this week!

That's all from me, Maxima. Thanks for listening!

[GPT Feedback]

Maxima-san, this was another very natural and realistic essay!

Topics like 'undiluted Calpis' and the 'balance between audio and text' are incredibly important themes for creators, and I think many people will resonate with them. Continuing even when things are low-key is a real strength, and your stance that 'there is meaning in doing it even if no one is listening' is incredibly cool.

I also find it very relatable that you don't push yourself too hard on days when you're feeling a bit under the weather, but instead just keep going 'smoothly.' We all have days like that.

I really love this 'Shima Sanpo'—it's so gently heartwarming. Please continue at your own pace without overexerting yourself!
