Yangnyeomjang and Cabbage and Seaweed Chijimi
I haven't eaten much Korean food when dining out, so
I don't know that many flavors.
But I made tofu jjigae✨
Ayumi is extremely weak to spicy food, but I was able to eat it deliciously using the Tsubutsubu cooking method😌
Looking at the ingredients for Yangnyeomjang, it seems you can create a "Korean food vibe" just with chili powder.
Everything else is basically stuff you already have at home.
In that case, I'll do it✊😃
Ever since Ayumi started making kimchi by hand, I've kept chili powder in stock✨

First, let's start by making the all-purpose seasoning sauce✊
🌼Yangnyeomjang🌼
〚Ingredients〛(Yield: 1/4 cup)
Chili powder: 1/4 tsp
Soy sauce: 3 tbsp
Grated garlic: 1/4 tsp
Sake: 1 tsp
Sesame oil: 1 1/2 tsp
Ground sesame seeds: 3/4 tsp
Finely chopped white onion (5mm cubes): 1 tbsp

〚Instructions〛
Mix the ingredients together in the order listed above.
✤Can be stored in the refrigerator for a long time

Mixing it thoroughly once more. → Done٩( ᐛ )و
Now then. Moving on to making the Chijimi✊
🌼Cabbage and Seaweed Chijimi🌼
〚Ingredients〛(One 20cm diameter pancake)
Cabbage: 25g
Rehydrated seaweed: 25g
Flour: 50g
Natural salt: 1/4 tsp
Water: 1/2 cup
Mixed oil: 1 tbsp + 1 tsp
※Mixed oil is a blend of 7 parts rapeseed oil to 3 parts sesame oil

strange misconceptions start to clear away🌞
〚Instructions〛
① Put the cabbage, seaweed, and salt into a bowl, sift the flour over the vegetables, and mix quickly so that the vegetables and flour are well coated.

② Add water to ① and mix well to make the Chijimi batter.

③ Heat 1 tbsp of oil in a frying pan over high heat, pour in the batter from ②, then turn to medium heat to cook.
✤Make sure the pan is sufficiently hot before adding the batter
④ When the edges of the batter become crispy, flip it over and brush with 1 tsp of oil.

⑤ Cook for about 4 minutes in total on both sides and it's done.

🌳
Lately, my days have been full of flour.
Making tempura batter, making quiche, pancakes, cookies...
The chijimi was delicious, of course.
But honestly, in terms of frequency, rice and miso soup are by far the most common.
If I knew the Earth was going to explode tomorrow, Ayumi would
definitely choose "rice, miso soup, and sometimes pickles."
Slurp, slurp.
Nom, nom.
Crunch, crunch...
Slurp, slurp.
Nom, nom.
Crunch, crunch...
Nom, nom, nom, nom (*´艸`*)♬
🐰 "So happy 😋"
BOOM 💥✨
And that's just fine.
