Eating for Hangesho
The stifling heat rising from the ground wraps around me whether I like it or not.
Direct sunlight stabs down from straight above, piercing from the top of my head through my entire body.
Ah, it's hot.
The rainy season is over, and the height of summer is finally beginning.
Will I be able to get through it?
I'm already so exhausted that it makes me anxious.
To begin with, I'm not good with heat.
What should I do?
That's it, I'll eat octopus.

There are still more, haha.
During this season of Hangesho,
so that we don't lose to the summer heat,
and can stand firmly on the ground.
It is said that we should emulate the eight-legged octopus and eat its meat.
(I learned this from a noter's article)
In the first place, I love octopus!!
Whether it's sashimi or carpaccio,
ajillo, octopus tempura, octopus rice,
and of course, takoyaki too.
Depending on the region, it might be mackerel, mochi, or udon,
the things people eat vary.
The point is to eat well, take in nourishment,
and get through the summer.
Alright, if that's the case.

A Mexican and Asian mix
Let's overcome the heat with spicy and sour flavors

Mexican beer (Tecate)

Now, what could she be making?

It looks just like a face!

I also made regular meat sauce
When summer comes, Mexican food is something I always want to eat at least once.
Even though I'm not good with spicy food, for some reason I love salsa sauce.

Corona beer really needs lime
This flavor is something I want to drink in the summer

in tortillas and ate them

Tropical salsa sauce goes very well with it
My son, who loves tuna, also wrapped some up and ate it

When paired with tuna, it feels Hawaiian
Our bodies are made from the food we eat.
To put it another way, our bodies are made only from what we eat.
The cells in our bodies are constantly being replaced.
The food we consume becomes the material for creating those new cells.
Eat well and be reborn as new cells every day.
If you can do that, you will surely be able to stay healthy.
I think we can get through this hot summer too.
Food from hot countries is something you really want to eat when it's hot in the summer.
I suppose my body is craving it.
And to think that what I was craving tastes this delicious.
It's a happy thing.
The acidity, spiciness, and sweetness stimulate me in turns.
I wash that tingling sensation
down into my body with a fizzy, golden liquid.
While slowly breaking into a sweat.
On the day of Hangesho, our family's summer dining table.
In order to overcome this extreme heat
we are constantly being reborn.

Ethiopian iced coffee with
citrus pulp added 😀 It was incredibly delicious
Truly the taste my body was craving
The pairing with the lemon cube cake is also perfect
