The Meaning of the Word "Arigato" (I started Threads)
Actually, I started Threads around the same time as note!
There are many SNS platforms out there, but based on my intuition, I started using note and Threads because they allow even newcomers to reach a wide variety of people, and there is an atmosphere where everyone praises good things. (I've felt this way even after just a few days of using them.)
Also, I feel that note is better suited for longer thoughts that people might stop to read, so I change the direction of my posts between the two. I write on Threads to let people know who I am, and on note to share my values regarding my work.
I run a tax accountant office, but fundamentally, I love detailed work, seeing things I've designed take shape, and being able to understand things I didn't know before in my own words.
Because of this, I love accounting and tax work, but I also love art, such as drawing. (I think you can tell if you look at both my Threads and note.)
Reasons why I love accounting and tax work, and my focus (mainly on note)
・It is fun to think of ways to operate so that numbers match perfectly, and to build a system that ensures they do in the end. When I learn about the accounting field, I see the flow of the workplace, and when I learn about accounting and tax, I see the final goal. It is fun to connect these and build a system by combining experience, knowledge, and IT tools to make things easier. Especially when I can propose significant improvements, it doesn't make the big news, but I feel a sense of fulfillment as if I have changed the world!
・It is fun to design tax calculation software, build it in Excel, and design it for my future self so that I can maintain high quality even when I am tired, even with complex issues!
・Law also involves reading detailed regulations and precedents, but when I can systematize it as if I were studying mathematics and express that world in my own words, I feel like I have connected with the world, and it is very fulfilling!
Reasons why I love art, and my focus (mainly on Threads)
・It is fun to be able to express things in my head like, "It would be wonderful if such a landscape or world existed." I especially love the sense of accomplishment when it is finished!
For me, drawing is an act of gratitude for the ordinary things in daily life. By stopping to look at the scenery in front of me that would otherwise just pass by if I didn't pause, I feel a sense of fulfillment the moment I discover parts I like within the scenery I thought was ordinary.
The meaning of the word "Arigato"
I believe the Japanese word "Arigato" means "it is difficult for something to exist," and it implies that we need to be grateful for our casual daily lives because, although we take them for granted, they are actually difficult to come by.
In fact, there are people who maintain infrastructure, people doing various businesses, and people who support us invisibly. I believe I am able to live in this world while receiving the benefits as a part of that cycle that we often take for granted.
At a general store, you can discover unique jewelry and daily goods with a sense you wouldn't be able to find on your own.
At a restaurant, you can discover delicious delicacies you would never have known about if you hadn't encountered that shop.
In movies and anime, I receive happiness in daily life that I hadn't noticed, courage in the extraordinary, and the energy to do my best again tomorrow. And these are things I become emotionally involved in and moved by without realizing it, precisely because of the acting skills of the actors and voice actors, which I might otherwise take for granted.
The wonderful worlds I would never have known if I were alone, and my happiness, are given to me because other people exist.
Thinking that the present would not exist without others, I am reminded to be grateful for this daily life, and I want to contribute to my customers through this work.
Even now, there are times in my daily life when I get desperate about what is in front of me, or get depressed by bad news or incidents, and lose the leeway to think about such things, but I feel that I am creating paintings and works to remind myself of "gratitude."
I would be happy to work with people with whom I can build a relationship where we can be grateful to each other even in our work.
I am still a newcomer, but I look forward to working with you in the future!
