[Korean Variety Show Review] "Three Meals a Day: Light"
The "relaxed self-sufficiency rules" are certainly light, but
the chemistry between Cha Seung-won and Yoo Hae-jin, who are the same age, is
even deeper and stronger.

At a house in the middle of a potato field in Gangwon-do.
The guests are singer Lim Young-woong and actress Kim Go-eun.
Hae-jin, thinking he's doing a good deed, adds kimchi to the gochujang-jjigae Seung-won is making without asking.
← This becomes a running joke.
The people buying the harvested potatoes are Lee Kwang-soo and Do Kyung-soo, who are preparing for a new series of "Kong Kong Pat Pat".

A fishing village episode on a small island off the coast of Jeju Island during a heatwave.
The guest is Kim Nam-gil.
The three of them go boat fishing and each successfully catches a large striped jack.
(However, as a Japanese person who loves fish, I can't help but think it's a waste to deep-fry a striped jack.)

And finally, in the foothills of Jirisan Mountain.
The guest is Uhm Tae-goo, who has almost no variety show experience and is extremely shy.
The highlight might be the exhaustion of the production crew, who ended up having to aim for a summit in the Jirisan range unexpectedly, led by Yoo Hae-jin, who runs 5km every day as part of his routine.
Cha Seung-won and Uhm Tae-goo, who exercise regularly, manage to keep up, even if not as well as Yoo Hae-jin.
Also, I want to praise the production crew for not forgetting to film, edit, and include the moments where Seung-won is carefully trying to ease Tae-goo's tension, even while they were exhausted themselves.

It lives up to expectations with beautiful scenery of the Korean countryside and Cha Seung-won's delicious (and bright red) cooking.
I hope they do this again, even if it's irregular, like "~light ver. 2".
To everyone at Egg is Coming (the production company where PD Na Young-seok works), please consider it 🙇🏻♀️

See you next time.
