[Min-Hai Time Capsule] Summer Color.

Min-Hai's time capsule project.
That sounds super fun!
So, I'm participating.

But, what color should I choose?
What is my summer color?

While I was thinking about that,
I found an article in the newspaper
and created this based on it.

Glad I made it in time... lol

It's a creature that glows blue in the night sea.

Did anyone get it? lol

It's a creature like a water flea...

I think some of you have already figured it out.

Yes.
It's the sea firefly.

Apparently you can see them in Kagawa too.
But I've never seen one.

I found the article about sea fireflies while I was crumpling up newspaper to dry the kids' sneakers after they came home on a rainy day.

I thought, 'This is perfect,' lol

Somehow, while I was looking for a summer color,
words like 'night sky' and 'dark blue' had come to mind,
so it was a perfect fit.

I looked at videos and photos online and tried writing a tanka poem.

The stars twinkling in the night sky and the light of the sea fireflies glowing in the dark sea are both beautiful.

There is no way to compare them, is there?
However,
both have a distinct beauty that stands out, making them mysterious and fantastical.

It is the same for humans.
Each and every person lives each moment with care,
making their lives shine.

Not a single person,
has the same radiance.

I put a meaning like this into it.

Someday,
I look forward to the day when Min-Hai is unlocked.
