Stylish Adult Attire
As we get older, we become more concerned about our appearance.
I feel like for most people, this ends up working in reverse, perhaps because they see so many others simply escaping into safe grays and blacks without applying any filter of their own personal taste or preferences.
...However, I hate that. So, even at this age, I am still struggling quite a bit.
That said, I have no intention of walking down the street chasing the latest trends. That battle, which has no right answer and no end, is something for young people to deal with. It is just plain embarrassing to try to pander to the youth when you are at a mature age.
So, what should I do?
I have set four conditions for myself:
1. It works without having to try too hard
2. It is something the younger generation also wears normally
3. It maintains a minimum level of refinement
4. And it does not forget a sense of style
There are surprisingly few clothes that meet these four criteria. But they do exist. This time, I have lined up some of those rare items.

◎ Shoes: Dr. Martens 1461
Sneakers are popular. But while they might seem like they suit everyone, that is not actually the case. In particular, when I see someone who has reached a certain age wearing sneakers with a jacket, I just cannot feel at ease.
That is because I can sense them "trying too hard."
So, I would like to introduce a pair of shoes that perfectly fits the theme and conditions of this article.
They are the "Dr. Martens 1461."
They are not just any leather shoes. I believe these shoes arethe "universal standard for footwear."The rounded toe and thick sole are neither too dressy nor too casual. They can lean casual, or they can lean dressy. And strangely enough, no matter who wears them, they always seem to work.
The stability and level of matching when paired with slim black pants is like"grated daikon radish on saury."It is complete.

Though wrapped in a refined form,
they also possess a wild side because they are originally work boots

An example of a clean way to wear them
I wear this color often myself
◎ Outerwear: Double Riders Jacket
Many people are resistant to leather jackets. But that is usually because of the image of a "bad boy" they have in their heads."bad boy"However, that is a matter of how you wear it, not a problem with the clothing itself.
There are single and double riders jackets, but in my own very biased logic, the double version is better for someone who has aged. There are moments when a single riders jacket can look strangely like you are trying to show off. The double version blurs that line nicely. It possesses both a sense of ruggedness and sex appeal at the same time.
Since it even works with a dress shirt and tie, it is an excellent item that can replace a jacket—that is the double riders jacket.
For me personally, during times when there is little chance of sweating—in other words, more than half the year—it is hard to live without this.
The way a double riders jacket fits over a white T-shirt is like"spicy cod roe on freshly cooked rice."No explanation is needed.

It creates the atmosphere unique to a double

Cute, cool, and stylish
◎ Bottoms: Slim Black Pants
In the end, the pants I always return to are slim black pants.
There are countless types of pants in the world, but few have such a wide range of appeal.
However, there is a condition: "They must not be too tight." So-called skinny jeans are a different thing. Those are the privilege of young people with thin, long legs, and they are not a tool for everyone.
Slim black pants are similar to, but different from, skinny jeans. They accept everything—a bit of body shape, age, and so on. In addition to fitting the 8 billion people living on Earth on their own, they also respond to any combination, whether it be shirts, jackets, hairstyles, makeup, or even shoes. As long as you do not try to be overly flashy with them, you will almost never go wrong.
"If you are in doubt, just wear these." Because you can say that with certainty, it is an item that older people should choose. Obviously, baggy pants do not offer that same versatility.
Slim black pants and a white button-down shirt. This perfect fit is already at the level of"okonomiyaki with Otafuku sauce."I would like to give the Nobel Peace Prize to the person who thought of this combination.

The silhouette is elegant
Length is a matter of preference
◎The Pitfall
《T-shirts and Jeans》
These two items seem simple, but they are the most difficult. Everyone wears them, but they don't suit everyone.
<T-shirt>
A single T-shirt offers no place to hide. Your physique and age are revealed exactly as they are. To say it suits everyone is a delusion. Especially for older people, patterned T-shirts can sometimes give off a sense of desperation.
Unless you are doing it with the spirit of 'To hell with it!', choosing a patterned shirt under the assumption that it will be stylish is quite difficult, whether it is a low-priced item or a luxury brand.
<Denim (Jeans)>
So-called jeans are in the same position as T-shirts. The straight-leg type, in particular, offers no room for deception.
For example, the Levi's 501. Its history and presence are impeccable, but the number of people who can actually wear them stylishly is quite limited. This is because the length of your legs determines the result.
◎In Conclusion
Suppose you decide to go out dressed in a double rider jacket, black slim pants, and Dr. Martens on your feet.
Of course, it is fine for young people to wear that. It would likely suit them well.
But what if an elderly couple walking with their backs straight were dressed like that?
Surely, it would be quite cool. At least, that is how it seems to me.
