My production flow for converting emotions into video

When I create a work with AI, I don't
think about the video from the very beginning.

The very first thing is 'emotion'.

Pain.
Suffocation.
The fatigue of constantly trying to meet expectations.

And the desire to keep moving forward, despite it all.

The 'Still Breathing' project I created
was born from those very feelings ⸜(๑'ᵕ'๑)⸝ Yay 💓

The story didn't start with MV production

This production didn't start with the MV.
Before that stage, I was also working with AI music (｀･ω･´)ゞ✨🌸

◽ Emotions I want to convey
◽ Themes I want to express
◽ The worldview I want to deliver

I organized these into words and
gave instructions to translate them into music.

Therefore, the finished song is
not a 'given track' to me, but
a work that is an extension of my emotions 🎵✨💗

During MV production, I listened to the finished song dozens of times.

💭 What kind of story should I show?
💭 What symbols should I use to express it?
💭 What kind of visuals will convey these emotions?

And so, little by little...

The story of 'marionettes, masks, chains, crows, and a white chair'
began to take shape 🧩

To me, MV production is

not just the task of attaching visuals to music (*´ω`*)✨

It is the task of translating music born from emotion
into the form of visuals 💻✨

I really had failures and worries, but
by generating in detail and combining images,

My production flow

First, rather than the footage, I organizethe 'emotions I want to convey'.From there, I look for
symbols that can express those emotions.I search for them.

For example, in this work

A mask

The face a person wears in society.

Hiding true feelings,
meeting expectations,
and continuing to conform to those around them.

Marionette

A state of appearing to move by one's own will, while being controlled by invisible strings.

Wanting to fall but unable to.

Wanting to rest but unable to.

I visualized those emotions.

Chains

Obstacles that appear the moment you reach out toward the future.

Not actual chains, but

anxiety and common sense,
the expectations of others,
and one's own preconceptions.

They are symbols of such things.

The Crowd

People wearing the same masks, facing the same direction.

I am expressing a world where people lose their individuality and try to blend into their surroundings.

The Crow with Golden Eyes

This is an entity I held especially dear in this work.

In my creative work, I have an original character named 'Mariya Shirogane' .

Silver-white long hair,
golden eyes.

'Light' and 'Darkness' —she is a character I depict as standing between these two extremes🌸

For this MV, I didn't have Mariya Shirogane herself appear,
but instead entrusted her symbolism to a crow.

Black feathers.

And... golden eyes.

The scene where the mask sinks,
the suffering of the marionette,
and the world of the crowd,

I have made it exist as an observer that witnesses everything.💓✨
Generally, crows are sometimes treated as an ominous symbol.

However, for me, it is different.(。-`ω-)

A being that moves forward while knowing the darkness.
A being that flies through the sky while knowing loneliness.

Even in the final meadow, I depicted the crow in a gentle form.🖤

What was beyond the tunnel

In the latter half of the work, it proceeds through adark tunnel.

This is not despair.

It is a time for rebirth.

The field of vision darkens,
nothing can be seen,
and then, eyes open once again.

What spreads out beyond thatwas colorful nature.

White chair

The place reached at the end is a single white chair.
This chair is not a place given by someone else.

It is a place of my own that I found at the end of a long journey.

That is why, for the end, I chose footage of slowly approaching the chair.

There is no need to rush.
There is no need to compete.
It is okay to just be there.

I put those feelings into it 🌸
