The cuteness of a newborn is at a level that makes you want to experience it again and again
Three months have passed since my second child, my daughter, was born.
My daughter is so cute; she smiles a lot, cries a lot, and drinks a lot. Her face has become chubby, and her body has doubled in weight since she was born, making her feel quite solid.
Of course, my 2-year-old son and my 3-month-old daughter both have their own unique cuteness for 'now,' and every day is overflowing with cuteness.
However, the cuteness of the newborn stage, which only lasts for one month, feels so precious that for some reason, it makes me want to have another baby.
I think newborns have such a mysterious power.
Before time passes and my memories fade, I want to write down the charm of a newborn.
【Incredibly small】
The size of her, fitting perfectly in my arms, makes me feel like I might crush her if I put too much pressure on her.
I can't help but think, 'I must protect her!'
【Wriggling hands and feet】
I never get tired of watching those movements unique to newborns.
(By 3 months, their limb movements become so powerful that they shift their position upward or rotate, and that wriggling feeling disappears. That's cute in its own way, though.)
【A hundred faces when falling asleep】
Rolling eyes, smiling (newborn smile), and mouth moving open and shut.
Time just melts away when I watch this for a long time.
【Pouty lips】
My 3-month-old daughter doesn't do this anymore.
I was curious why newborns pout, so I looked it up and found that it's likely because their tongue takes up a large proportion of their mouth, causing it to stick out. I see.
【The sudden wildness when latching onto the nipple】
Even though she is usually just wriggling around, her neck movements become agile the moment she latches onto the nipple. lol
It's so adorable to see her latch on with such force and then drink breast milk earnestly while making little snorting sounds.
It makes me realize that newborns live by instinct.
【The pose when drinking breast milk or formula】
She almost always drinks with both hands in fists held near her face.
Combined with her earnest drinking, it's even cuter.
【The grumpy face when in the burping position】
I love this face so much that I have many photos of it saved.
It's an indescribably listless, grumpy face. I wonder what she's thinking.

【Poop that comes out like agar noodles】
If she drinks, it comes out. It comes out even while she's drinking. It comes out even when she's not drinking.
It comes out the moment I finish changing her diaper. It even comes out while I'm changing it (I've even gotten it directly on my hand while wiping her bottom).
It also comes out during her bath, so there are many times when poop is floating in the baby tub.
It's also adorable how the sounds of her farts and poop rival those of an adult.
【The scent unique to newborns】
There is a scent to a newborn's skin that is different from the smell of milk.
I wanted to smell that scent so much that I frequently pressed my nose against my daughter's cheeks and head.
When it was my son, I was just doing my best to take care of him, but with my second child, I have more peace of mind, so I am adoring my daughter with all my might.
I was able to adore her a lot during the newborn stage, and even now at 3 months, she smiles and giggles, so the cuteness really never stops.
Ah, I want to go back to when my son was this age, even if just for a day. Of course, as the relaxed version of me that I am now.
It will be after things settle down a bit more, but I find myself thinking that I do want one more.
Well then.
