A Misunderstanding

The other day, before a group tour began,
while I was waiting for the guests in front of the bus,
a lady seemed to want to take a picture of the bus.
On tours like this,
since there are often many similar buses at our destinations,
some people take photos of the "Bus Number"
or the license plate.
Thinking that was the case, I stepped aside a little, but then she said,
"If you don't mind, would you be in the photo too?"

In the past, while guiding,
people have asked me to let them take my picture
or to take one together, but
since we had only met a few seconds ago,
I asked, "Sure.
…Is this in case you get lost?"
The lady burst out laughing,
saying, "That's funny."
She probably just wanted to take a picture as a travel souvenir.
I realized that later.
So, I'm sure she has a photo of me on her smartphone,
with me prominently holding the "Bus Number" flag (lol).
I'm sorry for the strange misunderstanding.
