Marble is a school that helps you achieve a sustainable freelance life by blending "writing" with additional skills like interviewing, editing, and public relations.

About the Event

The theme for this event is "The note Publishing Skills Writers Need Now."

Our guest is essayist and writer Yota Nakamura. After working as an overseas tour conductor and then as a writer for Diamond Online and The Asahi Shimbun Digital, he transitioned into becoming an essayist. His various episodes capturing travel and daily life on note have received a great response.

Yota Nakamura / Writer & Essayist

Born in 1987 in Yokosuka City, Kanagawa Prefecture. Graduated from Waseda University, School of Creative Science and Engineering. After working as an editor and writer for an overseas travel magazine and as a tour conductor (overseas tour escort) at a travel agency, he became independent in January 2017. He became a writer contributing to Diamond Online, Asahi Shimbun Digital, and others. In his private life, he traveled 10,000 km around the world by bicycle and 1,270 km on foot from Tokyo to Hakata, gaining significant attention through television and radio appearances. Currently, as an essayist, he continues various activities and energetic publishing. He is currently running the note membership "Yota Nakamura's Independent Research".

What is Marble?

"Marble" is a small-group community-based school that aims to help you continue a freelance career that is uniquely yours by combining writing skills with skills such as "interviewing," "editing," and "public relations."

A total of over 50 people have participated so far, with a satisfaction rate of over 95%. Graduates have gone on to pursue various careers, such as those who transitioned from beginners to interview writers, and those who started new jobs in editing or public relations after being writers.
