"Hey, do you know
why the sea is the 'same blue' as the sky?"

Because they care for each other, they say.

But even if I reach out, I can't reach it.

That's why, at the very least, I wished to be the same color.

Once upon a time, the sky and the sea,

Back when they didn't even have names,
they were just nestled together.

Where the sky ended,
and where the sea began,

no one knew.

Wrapped in a single blue,
without even a boundary line,they were a 'complete whole'.

But you know, when the world expanded,
the two were separated.

Encounters and partings,
dreams and reality,

so that people could learn in this world—

the two of them also came to have roles.

The sky, to deliver love far away.

The sea, to gently accept love.

And so, having parted,
they became the same blue,
showing that their existence was one.

When the sky cried, the sea caught it all.

The sadness, the loneliness, everything,
gently wrapped up.

When the sea cried, the sky caught it all.

The solitude, the anxiety, everything,
gently dissolved away.

That's why blue is said to be a healing color.

"A calm heart"because it returns to that state.

"Hey, do you know
why the sea is the 'same blue' as the sky?"

So that the summer I spent with that person doesn't go anywhere.

Leaving it in the sky,

dissolving it into the sea,

to make it eternal,they say.
