To All Clumsy Women: Thanks to a Certain Activist, Note Is a Place Where It's Easier to Breathe
I think we live in an era that is easier to live in.
Well,
in a sense, it has become harder to live in,
but,
it has become easier for clumsy people to live, I think.
The reason is,
"Clumsy" people have gained civil rights.
The other day, on Nippon TV's [Ueda to Onna ga Hoeru Yoru],
under the theme of [Women who are too clumsy to live easily],
clumsy female celebrities appeared
and shared their own clumsy episodes.

In the past, "airheads" were on the rise.
In the past,
people called girls who were careless and made many mistakes
"airheads".
However, in my case.
"Ma-san, you're not an 'airhead'!
It's something different from that!"
I was often told that.
Of course, I never said
"I'm an airhead~" myself.
It seems there is a formula:
"Airhead" = "careless and cute",
and
in my case, that didn't apply (I think it's mainly the "cute" part)
I couldn't think of a word
that fit me perfectly at the time.
But, I can say it now.
"I am clumsy."
Regarding this,
truly no one would disagree.
At the beginning of our relationship, my husband, who used to say
"How cute❤️" at my various mistakes,
now, whenever something happens,
"Get it together!!" he yells.
It seems it has already exceeded his tolerance level.
You must not cause trouble for others.
My strict parents taught me many things,
but the one thing they told me most was
that I must
"never be a burden to others."
Despite that, I am clumsy and
I live my life constantly being a burden to others.
I am truly sorry.
But, surprisingly, the world is warm,
and many people accept my clumsiness.
The reason is,
"Clumsiness" has gained social acceptance.
Even though I wasn't accepted or forgiven
when labeled as an "airhead,"
I am easily accepted and laughed with
when labeled as "clumsy."
People's perceptions are mysterious,
and even the same actions
can have different levels of tolerance based on an image.
In that sense,
I feel that an easier era to live in has arrived.
It has been exactly three months since I started Note.
Well,
one such clumsy woman
descended into the world of Note on December 20, 2024.
I knew nothing.
I started without any prior knowledge.
Once I started,
it was interesting, and I was quickly drawn into the swamp.
My initial theme for articles
was to share my insights as an HR manager and working mom.
But, as I got more into Note,
my facade gradually peeled away,
and now"my clumsiness is fully exposed"is who I am.
Even so,
it was a world that accepted me.
Note residents say the world of Note is warm,
and I truly think so too.
That "clumsiness-exposed" woman
has found yet another new world.
That is
the back alleyworld and the
"#WhatAreYouTalkingAbout"genre.
This is a miracle brought about by
one activist
The person who created the world of the 'back alley' in this world of note,
that is none other than Konishi Kinoko-san.
To put it very simply
what this Konishi Kinoko-san did
is
She gave the phrase [What are you talking about?] citizenship
within note.
And not just any citizenship, but VIP status.
And it has already grown beyond the world of note.
It wasn't there from the beginning.
Even when no one paid her any mind,
she just kept on
writing articles herself, and kept tagging those articles with
[What are you talking about?].
And after that,
she kept collecting other people's articlesthat were tagged with [What are you talking about?].
As a result of those activities, the phrase [What are you talking about?] transcended being just a phrase, became a genre,
and created a world called the back alley.
For details, see this article
I tried tagging my own article with [What are you talking about?]...
And so, I gathered the courage to tag the article I wrote with
[What are you talking about?].
'A clumsy newcomer like me's poor writing.
No one will pay attention to it,' I thought,
and a few days later, without expecting too much and half-resigned.
Konishi Kinoko-san appeared with a flourish.

One clumsy person dancing with joy
I was overjoyed.
I replied as soon as I noticed the comment.

I take my hat off to Konishi Kinoko-san's masterful technique
After that, I was able to have some of my articles
added to her magazine,
which I am happy about,
but what is even more noteworthy
is how skillfully Konishi Kinoko-san collects articles.
I found an article tagged with
【#WhatAreYouTalkingAbout】, and
I collected it while leaving a comment.
I was moved by that efficiency.
That skill is magnificent!
Personally, I feel that the
UFO mark 🛸
that concludes the comment perfectly represents that efficiency.

Coming to an article quickly, commenting, and
collecting it just as quickly.
It's just like a UFO.
I think 🛸 represents it well.
By continuing the collection work like this, steadily,
and by making full use of honed skills,
now
【#WhatAreYouTalkingAbout】 has become a genre of its own.
Now, regarding the title collection, which is the main topic,
To all clumsy girls,
take your own clumsy episodes and
sublimate them here.
That's what I'm saying.
Presumably,
for those who recognize themselves as clumsy,
there are more clumsy episodes than you can count on both hands.
There's no way there aren't.
If you don't have any, then you're not clumsy.
So, to all clumsy girls.
Write an article about your own clumsy episodes and
finally add the tag 【#WhatAreYouTalkingAbout】.
If you do that, a UFO will surely come.

Note:
However, the 【#WhatAreYouTalkingAbout】 magazine has rules too.
Articles from Monday to Saturday of the 2nd and 4th weeks are eligible for collection,
so please just be careful about that.
But the seniors will teach you that too,
so that part is fine as well.
※By the way, I say 'girls', but
I know I have already graduated from the 'girl' category. But the wording sounds nice, so let me use it, okay?
To all clumsy girls.
Write your own clumsy story article right now and
add the 【#WhatAreYouTalkingAbout】 tag.
And then, by looking at other people's [#WhatAreYouTalkingAbout] articles,
laughing heartily, clicking 'like', and leaving comments,
you can further liven up Note.
Of course, this is
not just for girls,
but to all of humanity 👽🛸

I am also a newcomer who has only known this back-alley world
for a few weeks.
From the perspective of long-time members,
they might say a newcomer shouldn't be talking about 'Konishi Kinoko-san' or
'the back alley'.
(But I believe that the people in the back alley are kind.)
Furthermore, I have received permission from Konishi Kinoko-san
to write this article!!!
