During the year-end and New Year holidays, German-language media also features many standard news stories.

The outlook for the German economy is also one of the standard topics.
New Year's economic forecasts by prestigious research institutes are released, and many news stories are generated based on them.
If there is a downward revision to the GDP growth forecast, it becomes a headline.

Seemingly understandable but elusive: A map of German industries

On the other hand, what remains unclear is the German economy with a focus on individual companies and industries.

When you look at the websites of companies and clusters, they are of course introduced in a positive light, but there are no easy-to-overview materials or data books that correspond to Japan's 'Industry Maps' or 'Quarterly Corporate Reports.' Even though in Japan, travel guidebooks are publishing special features on all-country funds.

I had been hoping that I would come across useful information someday, but of course, nothing happened. However, while I was reading various people's notes, there was an unexpected development today.

It seems there really is no German version of an industry map.
I think there is demand for it, though. Could it be that people are checking exhibitor information from specialized trade fairs?

However, just knowing that it doesn't exist is a big harvest!
