Copycat Production Diary 3

There are only 2 weeks left until the Hitoiro Exhibition in Fukuoka!

With various collaboration pieces being finished or nearing completion, and so much flower support gathered, I'm starting to feel restless, thinking, 'Wow, it's really almost time.'

And finally, I have finished creating the pieces I will be exhibiting.

Around the beginning of May, I was so worried I almost cried, wondering if I would really make it in time.

Although it was a last-minute completion, I'm glad I was able to make them carefully without rushing!
I enjoyed it right up until the moment I cut the thread on the final piece.

I keep looking at the finished 'Iro no Ko' (color children) and grinning, thinking how cute they are.

Please come and meet these little ones as they prepare to set off on their journey♡

In production diary 3, I will describe how the 'Iro no Ko' charms are made.

I think about what fabric suits this little one, and cut it into a circle along with the cotton to go inside.

I attached a thread to the top and added beads, thinking, 'It's done!' but then I suddenly thought it might be nice to have a drawstring bag that fits it perfectly...

It feels more like an amulet now.

You can carry it around in the bag, or use the bag to store it away.

How should I put it? A sense of having breathed life into it? I felt even more affection for the 'Iro no Ko'.
