The connection Ma-kun brought us that day
My second daughter has received a job offer as a veterinary nurse.
Good evening, this is Mame🫘.
Yesterday was a day where our whole family smiled and said, "I'm so glad."
I can finally breathe a sigh of relief.
But this connection didn't just start yesterday.
It began with the thought, "I hope this can be our regular clinic."
It was a veterinary clinic I visited with that lighthearted feeling.
The clinic was very clean, and the director and all the staff were kind, creating a place that cared not only for the animals but also for the feelings of the owners.
"I can trust them with my pet."
I still remember thinking that.
And then, later on.
Ma-kun suddenly developed pulmonary edema.
That day was truly terrifying,
and I was filled with anxiety.
Despite it being nighttime, they responded quickly, and Ma-kun received treatment in an oxygen chamber.
The director and the nurses supported us while also being mindful of our family's feelings.
I still cannot forget
the gratitude I felt at that time.
Seeing that hospital, my second daughter said,
"I want to work here."
From those words,
my daughter's job search began.
First, a hospital tour.
Then, daytime internships.
And even nighttime internships.
Seeing the doctors and veterinary nurses actually working in the field, her desire to "really want to work here" seemed to grow even stronger.
And then, yesterday.
The long-awaited news of the job offer.
Our whole family rejoiced together.
A connection brought to us by Ma-kun.
Back then, I never imagined that such a difficult event would lead to such a wonderful future.
Starting this spring, Aiko will take her first step as a veterinary nurse at the hospital she has always admired.
A job that faces life
is never easy.
I know there will be days that aren't just fun, but also painful and full of worry.
Even so, I believe she will become a nurse who supports the lives of animals while standing by the anxieties of their owners.
Toward her dreams, one step at a time.
Our whole family will continue to support our second daughter as she steadily moves forward.
And I am truly grateful to everyone at the hospital who gave us this wonderful connection.
Ma-kun, thank you so much.
The connection you brought us became the first step toward my daughter's dream.🐾
