Today, I am writing this letter because there is something I really want to tell you.

You see,
you don't have value because you can do something.

When you are laughing, and when you are crying.

The you who is confident,
and the you who is full of anxiety.

All of it, taken together, is you.

When days go by where things don't go well,
"Maybe I'm no good"
you might think things like that.

But I want you to remember.

You have value just by existing.

Even if you don't compare yourself to others.

Even if you can't meet expectations.

Even if you stop or take a detour.

Your value is not determined by
results, scores, or evaluations.

The fact that you were born.

The fact that you are here.

That alone is more than enough.

You are a person worthy of being loved.

And that is not conditional.

It is not only when you are 'doing things right'
or only when you are 'strong'.

Even when you are weak, even when you are lost,
you are allowed to be loved just as you are.

If from now on,
there are days when the world feels a little cold,
or moments when you can't believe in yourself.

I want you to keep just these words deep in your heart.

You are a precious existence.

An existence that deserves to be protected.

An existence that can start over as many times as needed.

You are fine just as you are.

I will continue to tell you that, over and over again.
