“AI is not for me.” The story of how I took my first step despite thinking that

“AI seems difficult.”

Until a little while ago, I truly thought so.

I hear about it often in the news, but

“It’s something for people who are good with computers.”

That was the only image I had of it.

So, I thought it was a world that had nothing to do with me.

But it’s different now.

I use AI almost every day to write notes like this and come up with bread recipes.

I really think you never know what will change your life.

At first, I was skeptical.

July 2026.

I learned the term “Generative AI” and decided to take the plunge and start learning.

But at first...

“What should I ask?”

“It would be embarrassing if I asked a weird question...”

That’s all I could think about (laughs).

I’m sure many people feel the same way.

AI wasn’t a teacher that just gives you answers.

When I actually used it, it was completely different from what I had imagined.

It thinks about things I don’t understand with me.

It organizes my writing.

It expands on my ideas.

It’s not a “magic tool that does everything for you,” but

a partner that thinks along with me.

That’s the kind of presence it has become.

I started to find more time.

When you’re raising children,

even if you have things you want to do, there’s never enough time.

Organizing bread recipes.

Thinking about social media posts.

Writing notes.

Things I used to agonize over for hours,

now take shape in a short amount of time with AI.

Because of that,

I have more time to talk with my children,

and time to learn new things.

For me, AI

has become a “tool that increases my time.”

But I’m still learning.

Of course,

I am not an AI expert.

I’ve only been at it for a month.

I’m still full of questions.

Even so, by using it a little bit every day,

things I couldn’t do yesterday, I can do today.

It was the same with bread making.

It’s the same with investing.

Small steps,

are giving me confidence little by little.

And now, onto a new challenge

Actually, right now,

I am also sharing bread recipes made using AI on TikTok.

Video editing,

live streaming,

everything is a first for me.

So I make plenty of mistakes (laughs).

But, as I mentioned in the first episode,

I want to cherish those “small steps.”

Even if it’s not perfect,

moving a little further than yesterday.

That’s the feeling I’m keeping as I continue.

In closing

Just a month ago,

I thought AI had nothing to do with me.

But,

once I took that first step,

I started to see a new landscape.

If there is something right now

that you are thinking, “Maybe I can’t do it,”

please try taking just one small step.

That one step,

might lead to a future you never imagined a few months from now.

🌿 I also share my daily challenges on social media.

Stories on note.

Bread making on TikTok.

Photos and daily life on Instagram.

I share in different ways on each platform 😊

“The reason I, who once gave up, decided to try live streaming again”

Actually, I previously tried live streaming on another app, but I burned out and quit after four months.

Even so, I’m thinking of trying again on TikTok now.

It’s not “I failed, so it’s over,” but rather, there were “things I saw because I failed.”

I will write about that next time.
