Articulating the Strengths of 'Because It's Me'
Articulating the Strengths of 'Because It's Me'
It has been almost four months since I went independent.
I am currently creating a new LP (a page to help people get to know me).
To be honest,
this task is scarier than I imagined.
Putting into words what I have done,
what I have built up,
and what I can say 'I can do',
brings both confidence and anxiety.
'Is it okay to say this much?'
'Is it really okay to say it so definitively?'
Those feelings have crossed my mind many times.
—
What I saw only after articulating it
However, I realized something while writing it all down.
Over these past five years,
including self-study and the cooperation of those around me,
I have definitely built things up.
I created public relations from scratch,
set up the foundation for communication,
created a flow for attracting customers,
and got involved on-site, looking at the numbers as well.
That was neither a coincidence
nor something temporary.
It was truly a 'buildup'.
Because I articulated it,
I finally felt like I could acknowledge it myself.
—
The meaning of being told 'Because it's you'
Recently, my husband's company also asked me,
'Won't you come in to provide support?'
I understand it precisely because I stepped away once.
What I have done
was not something anyone could do.
It was something I could do because it was me.
It was something I noticed because it was me.
It was something I could accompany because it was me.
Through the experience of being 'needed' in that way,
I feel like I have acknowledged myself once more.
—
Instead of forcing a mold, I look for 'that company's mold'
There are many consultants in the world.
'If you do this, you will grow.'
'If you fit into this mold, you will be fine.'
Of course, there are companies for which that works.
But,
there are also many companies for which it does not.
I felt uncomfortable with that.
I want to start by finding
the 'uniqueness' of that company.
I want to draw out their thoughts,
think together without treating it as someone else's problem,
and create a mold unique to that company together.
To accompany them.
That is my strength,
and I was finally able to put it into words during this LP creation.
—
A step toward acknowledging myself
For a long time,
'I want to be able to acknowledge myself'
was my major goal.
This time,
by writing about myself in my own words,
I feel like I have taken just a small step toward that.
Articulating.
Visualizing.
That is
not just for conveying to someone else.
I think it is a time
to properly acknowledge myself.
Rather than a mold that sells, focus on the essence that wins.
