Action overwrites regret.
I woke up at 12:00.
The moment I looked at the clock on my phone, I couldn't help but say one thing.
"Oh, it's over..."
A feeling of having completely messed up.
I stared at the ceiling for a while, filled with anxiety and regret.
But strangely, my body wouldn't stop moving.
Before I knew it, I was cleaning, doing laundry, and even washing the car.
A strategy to cancel out the guilt of oversleeping with housework.
My lower back has been hurting since yesterday.
I thought, "Maybe today is a no-go," but
in the end, I got in the car and set off to check the site.
Departed at 14:00, returned at 18:00.
Distance traveled: about 80km.
That's quite a long distance for city driving.
Plus, the weather was clear and the breeze was just right.
Apple Music played pop songs from my youth.
Inside the car was the perfect space, just for me.
At the site, I just walked around checking the location and facilities.
But I learned so much by going there.
There is no better study than "seeing it for yourself."
Instead of saying, "My back hurts, let's skip it today,"
I'm glad I decided to "go for it."
After I got home and warmed up in the bath, it felt a little better.
And now I think,
Waking up late, my back hurting,
including everything that happened,
it was a good day.
