Being strong is not about being perfect, but about getting back up again and again
Nice to meet you. I'm MAKI.
In this note, I will write about my own realizations and lessons learned as I am.
⸻
Even if you stumble, get back up again
In my life so far, I have hit walls many times where I thought, "I can't do this anymore."
Whether it's parenting, work, or relationships.
Feeling like my efforts weren't rewarded, or facing the pain of not being able to understand someone important to me.
"I have to do better."
"Because I'm a mother," "Because I'm an adult."
I would push myself like that,
and before I knew it, there were times when my mind and body were completely worn out.
⸻
What I realizedWhat I have learned little by little is this:
Being strong is not about being perfect.
It is about getting back up again and again, even if you fall.
And that before being kind to others,
you must first be kind to yourself.
To know your own feelings and acknowledge them.
I feel that this ultimately becomes the energy that deepens trust with family and those around me.
⸻
What I want to do with this note
This is a place for my own reflection. And at the same time, I would be happy if it could become a place where people who are struggling or lost just like me can feel that they are "not alone."I will write honestly about parenting, work, relationships, and inner conflicts.
I am sure that from now on, I will still
get lost, fall down, and stop in my tracks.
But every time that happens, I want to get back up again
and continue my own unique journey.
⸻
Being strong is not about being perfect,
but about getting back up again and again.
I am also walking while feeling lost.
Let's move forward together.
