[NotebookLM] I tried making a picture book from my 4-year-old son's illustrations | Using AI for parenting
Hello, this is Makari.
"I want to create a story from the pictures my child draws!"
With that thought in mind,
I used my 4-year-old son's drawings to
create a picture book with NotebookLM.

The experience of seeing his own drawings turn into a story
was very fresh and exciting for my child.
In our home,
it even led to motivation to draw more,
with him saying, "I want to draw something like this next!" 💡
It makes drawing fun for children, too.
How about trying this way of using AI? 𓂃𓈒 𓂂𓏸

Canva is a convenient tool to use.

4. Select the file type
5. Click "Download"

When you download it,
the images will be saved in ZIP format.
Introduction to the completed picture book
I will introduce the completed 10-page picture book.

When actually making it, just like last time, there is a high probability that
the character's appearance will change halfway through.
NotebookLM seems to struggle with
reproducing the exact same character consistently.
That said,
• Enjoying it with your child
• Practicing reading hiragana
I felt that for purposes like these, it is plenty enjoyable.
The experience of "My own drawing became a picture book!" is surely something special for a child.
It is also recommended for time spent at home.
Summary
Using children's drawings to create picture books with AI.
That kind of play is truly unique to our current era.
With NotebookLM,
you can complete a picture book with a story just by uploading illustrations.
For a child,
it is an exciting experience where "their own drawings become a story."
It might make drawing
even more fun.
Why not try enjoying this during your time at home?
Thank you for watching until the end🌿
