"Grandma, come here♡" The angelic granddaughter's devilish invitation
On Father's Day the other day, we visited my parents' house at my husband's suggestion.
My daughter brought her current favorite "puzzle" with her, and it seems she wanted Grandma, who always praises her over video calls, to watch her do it... (My daughter, who just turned two, does an 80-piece puzzle all by herself, so Grandma is genuinely surprised, and she seems to love being praised so much that she can't get enough of it♡)
She took out her Anpanman puzzle and started it, but when Grandma said, "I only know the names of Anpanman and Baikinman..." she would show her a piece with a character's face on it and ask, "Who is this?" and then snap it into place!
She wouldn't put the pieces in when Grandma was looking elsewhere, but would snap them in with a proud look on her face when Grandma was watching!
She was clearly fishing for compliments!!
What surprised me was that while she usually fills in the edge pieces first, when doing it with Grandma who doesn't know the characters, she completed them in the order of the character's face, then body, while saying their names.
For us, we were already amazed that she was completing a 5-year-old level puzzle, but the fact that she was doing it while showing Grandma so she could understand because Grandma didn't know... children's growth is truly amazing♡
Watching our daughter like that, my husband and I felt deeply moved...
That daughter of ours... seems to have realized, "Grandma will play along with my games!" and called out, "Grandma! Come here!!" dozens of times, running around the house and dancing according to her own rules... Grandma looked happy, but she was drenched in sweat♡
Thanks for playing along, Grandma♡
Please don't get sick from exhaustion♡
