[Day 6] Last Day of Korea Trip | Pre-check-in at Seoul Station! Tips for a Comfortable Departure Day
Hello! This is momohei, living in Okinawa🐻
The 6-day, 5-night trip to Korea has finally reached its last day.
People often think the day of departure is just for traveling, but with a little planning, you can create more time and peace of mind.
This time, I'd like to introduce a service I actually used and felt was truly convenient!😊
Pre-check-in at Seoul Station
What I used this time was pre-check-in at the Seoul Station City Airport Terminal.
Since my flight was around 1:00 PM, I headed to Seoul Station around 9:30 AM.
When I used it before, I had to wait in a long line in front of the check-in counter, but the system has changed this time.
It's now a style where you take a ticket number like at a bank and sit and wait until your turn, which is very comfortable!
Once your number is called, you just finish the procedures at the counter, so I didn't feel any stress even though it was crowded.
Furthermore, once you finish pre-check-in, you can use a dedicated departure lane at Incheon Airport.
It saves time, so I highly recommend this service to anyone using eligible airlines.
For detailed instructions on how to use it, the Konest article is very easy to understand, so please take a look.

If you have a lot of luggage, EMS is recommended!
The souvenirs this time ended up being more than I imagined, and my suitcase was quite heavy.
So I used EMS (International Mail) located on the 1st floor of Lotte Mart next to Seoul Station.
This time, it cost 54,000 won for about 7kg.
It arrived in Okinawa in about 5 days.
It costs a little for shipping, but it was really easy because I didn't have to carry heavy luggage while moving through the airport.
Cardboard boxes are provided, but even the largest size is only about the size of a Shin Ramyun box.
If you plan on doing a lot of shopping, we recommend bringing a larger cardboard box with you or purchasing one at the post office.
Use the dedicated lane at Incheon Airport
Once you arrive at Incheon Airport, head straight to the dedicated departure lane instead of the general lane.
There was a long line at the general lane, but the dedicated lane was very smooth.
It was so comfortable that I was surprised by the difference!
It saves you time, so it is also recommended for those who want to enjoy shopping and dining at the airport.
After finishing my 6-day, 5-night trip to Korea
On this trip, I visited Busan, Daegu, and Seoul, and was able to encounter the unique charms of each city.
Feeling the local life at local markets, discovering delicious Korean gourmet food, and participating in the Chimaek Festival for the first time...
There were some mishaps that didn't go as planned, but those became unforgettable memories as well.
I would be very happy if this serves as a reference for those planning a trip to Korea 😊
Finally
