Contest "Classical Music and My Story" was accepting entries.
It has ended
The participating articles are above!
Contest Overview
I want you to write to your heart's content about your love, experiences, memories, and more related to classical music!!!
I am holding such a contest.
Your favorite musician, favorite conductor, favorite performance, thoughts on classical music—the content is free as long as it is related to classical music.
For those who aren't interested in classical music but are curious
I believe that writing is like an 'association game'.
'Come to think of it, the person I liked in elementary school had a hairstyle like Beethoven's.'
'Come to think of it, there's a theory that Mozart died from an infection caused by a cutlet, and I also have dramatic memories of food poisoning...'
'Come to think of it, some classical music sounds like video game BGM, right? The songs from my favorite games are...'
Even if you have no interest in or knowledge of classical music, I think everyone has one or two things they can come up with by saying 'Come to think of it...'
So, I would be happy if you could participate as if you were playing an association game!
How to participate
1. Write a fun article on note
2. Paste the URL of this recruitment article somewhere in the body (this will notify me)
3. Post it with the hashtag "#ClassicalMusicAndMyStory"
I will 'like' the article to show I've noticed it and add it to the dedicated magazine.
* One article per person.
* If the participation method and rules are not followed, your entry will not be accepted.
Rule 1: Character count limit
Please keep it to around 2,000 characters at most.
The reason is that the number of characters that gives me a sense of satisfaction when I write an article, thinking "I've done it, heh...", is usually around 1,500 to 2,000 characters.
There is one other personal reason.
I am a full-time office worker, and I engage in creative activities within a limited amount of time.
If a fellow Beethoven worshiper like me were to participate in the contest and write a massive work of over 100,000 characters, it would be physically impossible for me to find the time to read it all.
Based on my own experience, I can say for sure that you can fully express your passionate thoughts in about 2,000 characters, so please strictly adhere to this limit...!
*Other than that, there are no particular restrictions on YouTube videos or the number of images, but I would appreciate it if you could take the above circumstances into consideration.
Rule #2: No AI-generated text
Please write it yourself, I beg you!!!
Rule #3: Submission period
Until Sunday, May 31, 2026.
Participation benefits
1. I will review all articles. (I'll write a few hundred characters for each and compile them into a summary article)
2. I will give you a unique award. (Like "Good Effort Award". I'll think of something better than that)
*There is no prize money
I don't want this to become a situation where people are "writing to aim for a limited number of awards or to aim for prize money."
For those who say, "What is that! Then I don't want to!" please leave this gathering quietly while crying! (Ninth Symphony: From Schiller's poem)
Well then, I look forward to reading everyone's articles!
If no one participates, I will hold it by myself. Pien.
Please rest assured that I will not be promoting my own services at all.
Notes
For those who follow the teaching of "don't follow strangers" or those thinking "who even are you?", I will write a brief self-introduction and background.
You can participate in the contest without reading this.
If you want to start writing already or it's snack time, feel free to hit the back button!
My name is Maimain.
I am a Beethoven geek from Osaka, currently living in Tokyo.
I aimed to be a voice actor since I was in junior high school, and moved to Tokyo alone right after graduating from high school.
In conclusion, I didn't sell at all, became mentally unstable, and spent most of my prime years in darkness.
Then, after various ups and downs, I am now able to live happily even as my sensitive self.
I have experienced various things such as being a voice actor, singer, scenario writer, and employee at a game company. Having worked at a dive bar for a long time since I was around 20, I am an adult of a certain age who knows both the bitter and the sweet.
Also, I studied counseling and coaching, and have talked with about 50 people so far through sessions via Zoom or in person.
Since about the year before last, I suddenly started to "see images or scenes, though I'm not sure if it's their strength or charm or what," and I have been conducting sessions while turning what appears in my mind into art by making full use of image editing software and AI.

For me, it was something I enjoyed as part of my "fun creative activities."
??? "Haha! Imagination!"
I used to do readings without asking for dates of birth or requiring photos, and I received feedback like, "You turned something I've never told anyone into art—how did you know?" so it seems I might actually be pretty amazing! Ahem!
And, as a scenario writer, I still occasionally supervise other people's writing.
Therefore, in my full article reviews, I will sincerely engage with your work to articulate the passion I feel from your writing through my own unique perspective.
Well then.
