It's okay for things to go well easily
Last week, I was finally able to visit a place I had wanted to go to for a long time: Hitachi Seaside Park in Ibaraki Prefecture, where the nemophila flowers bloom across the entire landscape. It was so, so beautiful. It was a breathtaking sight. I was healed by the gentle blue that seemed to gently purify my heart.
Blue is a color that calms the mind and body and turns one's focus inward. Perhaps that is why, since last weekend, I have been spending time diving deeper and deeper into my subconscious.
For the past 10 years, I have studied psychology such as color therapy, neuroscience, philosophy, and more, and have faced my own subconscious many times. By letting go of various limiting beliefs, I have become lighter and lighter, and living has become much easier.
Even though I used to live my life so concerned with what others thought, now, when I do something new or share things like this, I no longer worry about anyone's gaze.
However, recently, when I set the goal of "making writing my job," I felt myself hitting the brakes again. That's when I was shocked to realize yet another limiting belief I held.
For example,
There's no way it can go well easily
There's no way I can earn money
I don't have that kind of value
I don't have any significant life experience
I can't be in the spotlight
Wow, I was shocked to realize I was still judging myself so harshly. It seems I still have deep-seated limiting beliefs when it comes to work and money. I thought I had relaxed and become kinder to myself compared to the past. But it seems I only "thought" I had become kinder.
No wonder the more I stepped on the gas to try something new, the more I was also hitting the brakes. First, I'm going to start by rewriting these limiting beliefs.
The upcoming April 20th is apparently the most powerful new moon of the year. I heard from a friend who reads the stars that it's a good day to choose what your soul desires and set goals, so I'm going to let go of unnecessary beliefs by then and give myself permission to "make writing my job."
I am someone who strongly believes things without any basis, like "there's no way it can go well easily" or "there's no way I can earn money." If that's the case, it's okay to reverse that and believe "it's okay for things to go well easily" and "I can earn money." Because if you believe it, it will come true.
2023.05.03 Update
A follow-up story. After I started doing exercises to rewrite my limiting beliefs the other day, my article was purchased for the first time.
(To A-san and K-san who purchased it, thank you very much.)
I realized once again that removing the brakes within myself and letting go of limiting beliefs is the first step toward my dream, so I decided to publish the letting-go exercises I always practice on note.
These are exercises I have used in individual counseling and the like, but I have explained them in an easy-to-understand way, divided into 5 steps so that anyone can do them easily.
I would be happy if those who feel a connection to this receive them.
