A Bouquet of Thanks to the Me of One Year Ago
Recently, I have been happy to see an increase in the number of 'likes' on articles I wrote in the past.
Among them, I have recently received a series of 'likes' on this particular article from about a year ago, which holds a special place in my heart.
Each time, it reminded me of what happened a year ago.
Precisely because I love writing so much, I was afraid to face it head-on.
I worried that if I published on Kindle or sold paid notes, no one would buy my work. I wondered if I had any value at all...
I wrote that article about how I had been running away for so long because I was afraid of being confronted with the results.
However, as I introduced in that article, after encountering the words of author Hiroomi Sueyoshi,
“It is only natural for your writing to be paid content”
I was able to muster the courage to take that first step.
And then, to my surprise,
within less than a month, someone appeared who subscribed to my paid articles.
And Mr. Sueyoshi even featured and introduced my article (tears).
After that, although it started slowly, subscribers began to appear...
Thankfully, the number of repeaters gradually increased, and
I was able to achieve 12 months of monetization.
Six months later, I also achieved one of my goals: publishing on Kindle.
Furthermore, less than a year after restarting my note, I opened a membership.
Immediately, more than 15 wonderful members gathered...
Honestly, I wonder if such a magical miracle is even allowed...
I am the most surprised of all.
A landscape I never could have imagined a year ago is now spreading out before my eyes.
This is entirely thanks to the guidance of the wonderful people I have had the privilege of meeting, but
one thing I can say for sure is that if the me of a year ago hadn't mustered the courage to take action, the me of today would not exist.
I tend to be hard on myself, but
today, I want to present a bouquet of 'thanks' to my past self.
Mr. Sueyoshi, who gave me such a big push, has also made great strides this past year and published his first print book.
It is a book that feels like a charm, gently staying close to your heart while powerfully pushing you forward.
I feel happy to have met someone like Mr. Sueyoshi, who shows me up close the ideal lifestyle and life work that I think, 'I wish I could live like that.'
I, too, will pursue my writing as a lifelong life work while following in Mr. Sueyoshi's footsteps.
And next, I aim to publish a print book! ^ ^
Instead of 'competing' with everyone, let's 'co-create' together
'Let's become wizards who are loved by both people and money🪄'
With that thought in mind, I opened a membership, and I am currently looking for new members!
