Living with Cats
The precious members of our family.
They are our cats, Maru-chan and Mii-chan.

We adopted them from a shelter four years ago.
I love cats, but my husband isn't very fond of them, and my eldest son is allergic to cats.
I had always wanted to keep a cat, but because of those circumstances, it was never possible.
However, seeing me exhausted in both body and mind from the hectic daily grind, my husband finally gave me permission to get a cat.
My eldest son, who is allergic, managed to clear the hurdle by us installing an Airdog air purifier.
I had my sons choose one cat each, but I had only one condition.
Tabby
I just love tabbies.
I had decided that if I were to keep a cat, it would be a tabby.
And so, these children came to our home.

They don't get along very well, so they basically never sleep snuggled up together.
And they often wrestle while hissing at each other—is it fighting, or just playing?
I heard they were rescued from a home where there were too many cats to care for.
Since their birthdays are May 2nd and 3rd, they are apparently cousins.
They recently celebrated their 4th birthday. Congratulations!
Cats are my healing.
They give me so much comfort and energy that I wonder what would have become of me by now if they weren't here.
They shed a lot, and the walls are all tattered.
But they give me so much more in return.
They are truly adorable, and they are my beloved family.
