The Negative Queen's Stand-up Routine
Ladies and gentlemen, the party is in full swing here at the Prince Hotel.
I haven't exactly been called upon, but please bear with me for a moment while I offend your ears.
"If you could go back to the past, when would you want to return to?"
Once you reach a certain age, this becomes a classic topic that comes up at drinking parties, but do you all have a "golden age" that you feel like talking about?
I am ashamed to admit it, but having lived my life thinking that "this world is entirely suffering," all I have is the dark era of the Negative Queen.
Back then, I would cake my face with a base makeup of "but," "though," and "anyway,"
and as for my dress, my favorite was a negative tricolor of black, gray, and charcoal gray.
Yes. Haute couture, of course.
The idea of turning back time to that era on the throne is a bad joke that would surely give me a hangover.
I used to listen to people reminiscing about the good old days while staring blankly at my empty mug.
Come to think of it, when did terms like "negative thinking" and "positive thinking" become so ingrained?
"Let's go positive!" "Everything works out with a positive attitude!" Positive is OK!
"Negative" is NG, negative is backward. Unproductive.
I feel like I was just tightening the noose around my own neck by unconsciously internalizing this binary concept.
"I'm no good because I hate myself like this," I would say, layering on even more self-denial.
It was like a boot camp for negative thinking.
If this were a hamburger, it would be a "Negative Double Standard DX."
I'd even add a side of lethargy and self-reproach salad.
Or rather, if I were a samurai, perhaps I would have ended up committing seppuku with my own blade out of the guilt of even possessing a sword.
I'm glad I'm not a samurai.

So, that was me, the Negative Queen.
One thing that has been on my mind lately is that there seem to be quite a few people who think you can't "manifest" things or "achieve your desires" with negative thinking.
That is a misunderstanding, a misconception.
You just need to free yourself from the curse of double-negative thinking.
You don't have to force yourself to be positive.
If you get caught up in the "positive myth" and try to force away the negative, you'll only disturb your vibrations and nothing good will come of it.
So it's fine just the way you are.
Just as a coin has two sides, people also possess both positive and negative traits.
Just as some have a higher tolerance for alcohol than others, I simply have a negative constitution where my negative side is slightly more prominent than my positive side.
I often hear the trendy phrase 'just be yourself' these days, but it really just means stopping the struggle against who you are.
Though, for someone with a negative constitution, that is not an easy thing to do.
Light creates deep shadows, and shadows make the light stand out.
The light seen from the darkness is very beautiful, but if the darkness disappears, the light vanishes as well.
Positivity is good.
Negativity is also good.
This world exists because of both.
I went a long time without realizing this.
I spent a long time fighting it.
I spent so many years in despair, wondering if I would just live out my life in a world of darkness, wearing the tiara of the Negative Queen.
But now, I am wrapped in a balance of soft light and pleasant shadows, spending my days relaxing on a comfortable sofa.
However, it is not as if I have let go of my 'Negative Tiara'.
Even now, I occasionally take it out to look at it, or even polish it with care.
I used to want to throw it away so badly, but now I find it actually suits me, or perhaps I should say it feels just right for me.
I have gone on for quite a while.
Even though I call this a stand-up routine, there is no punchline.
I will save the rest of the Negative Queen's episodes for another time.
Well then, please excuse me.

Allow me to introduce the reason why I wanted to talk about this.
(I am sorry that so much time has passed.)
I was invited to Arkun's channel, where I asked various questions about 'image training'.
It was truly fascinating, even from a spiritual perspective.
To describe my impression of Arkun in one word, he is a 'Light Warrior, Positive Boy'.
He manifests favorable situations in the future through positive imagery and fills them with bright light.
My, he is the complete opposite of me.
I gathered that he has a naturally positive constitution.
Back in the days when I was sitting on my throne of negativity, turning my eyes away from the light, I might have found this Positive Boy dazzling and annoying.
However, light creates shadows, and shadows make the light shine.
Our "Yin-Yang Integration" talk is the ultimate tag-team match.
Oh, that's right.
As a hint in lieu of a promise to discuss at another time why it's okay to be negative and how you can manifest your desires even while being negative, please take a look at this diagram.

Until next time, farewell.
