A Summer of Gratitude, A Japanese Summer ~The Person I Most Want to Make Happy~
Shin-chanI learned about this project by reading your article.
I feel like I'm looking at a painting displayed in a shop window, thinking, "Oh, what a wonderful project ♡"
But I've already decided it's impossible from the start after seeing the price tag, and I haven't even considered where I would hang it in my room.
Yet, when someone calls out, "Wouldn't you like to take a closer look inside?" I feel flustered and awkward.
Or, to use a sports day analogy,
I was cheering from the spectator seats when suddenly"Hey, you eating Jagariko, come here!"I was dragged out and forced to run in a "scavenger hunt" race.
Wait, hold on!! No way! Me!?
The Borrower Arrietty is cute, but the seed of writing while munching on Jagariko.
(That's not even a pun lol)
The person who pulled me, while I was choking on a crumb and panicking, was this person ↓
Excuse me, may I have a moment?
shogo-sanI have a question for you.
Hey, is there love in there!?
Oh, it was there! Right here!
I had my glasses off and couldn't see it!
Sorry, I just wanted to say that.
(The title is also just me messing around with an insecticide manufacturer's catchphrase 🙇)
I'll be found out soon for beating around the bush to pad the word count, so I'll get to the main point.

When you're lost, when you're struggling,
when you don't know what to do, remember this:
Life is,a "Competition to Make Others Happy"...
For the sake of thetough timesthat will surely come again for us someday...
And to furtherexpand our potential...
Let's create a massive album of the "Competition to Make Others Happy"!When you're lost, what should you do?
I believe this will become our
Polaris (guiding star).
The 'Make-Each-Other-Happy Battle'
Uncharacteristically, I will start with the conclusion.
There is someone I want to make happy more than anyone else.
The person who has supported me more than anyone else
ever since I was born into this world.
That person is 'Me'.
Yes, myself.
I have always hated 'Me'.
I hated myself so much.
My appearance, my personality, my capabilities, everything
I was dissatisfied with.
I didn't possess a single one of the specs
that I wished I had.
Even though I wanted to try hard,
I couldn't.
I couldn't achieve the results I wanted.
I had nothing but complaints
for 'Me'.
Why did my soul
choose such a clunky vehicle called 'Me'?
I kept hating myself and complaining all the time.
I wished I would just disappear, and I was
always frustrated with 'Me'.
Therefore, I never gave 'Me'
any rewards at all.
I didn't think I was worth rewarding, anyway.
That's what I thought.
Looking at Japan, or even the whole world,
there's no company as exploitative as this one;
I just kept making 'Me' work more and more.
Not only did I make myself work,
I also tormented myself relentlessly.
Because I never did anything
to satisfy myself,
and instead, I was only ever a disappointment.
For these reasons,
I committed every kind of harassment.
And yet, 'I' have
always stayed by my side, and no matter what,
never left me.
And, by telling me 'You're pushing yourself too hard,'
waving yellow cards at me in the form of colds or stomach aches,
'Look, isn't this delicious?'
'What do you think of this sunset color?'
inviting me to feel moved,
More than any secretary or butler,
they work for my sake.
They are always doing their best.
'I' does not abandon me,
and supports me without ever giving up.
How shabbily I have treated
such an 'I'.
A company this exploitative
would have gone bankrupt long ago,
and no one would be surprised.
Although I have tormented them so much,
I have finally realized that everything 'I' has done for me,
through all five senses,
was the greatest joy for me.
I am seriously glad
that I realized this
before 'I' ended up leaving me.
But it seems 'I'
doesn't need any reward.
My being healthy and well
seems to be their greatest joy.
So, when I say 'thank you' with gratitude,
they are incredibly happy.
You'll understand if you just say it once.
'Thank you'
When I say that, 'I'
feels a gentle warmth, sheds tears,
and conveys their joy.
I don't think there is any other existence like this.
I was right to choose 'I'.
Summer is finally in full swing again this year.
It is a harsh season for 'me'.
Giving in to the heat,
eating and drinking cold things incessantly,
and basking in the cold air of the air conditioner all day long.
Precisely because it is this time of year,
when I force such harsh working conditions upon myself,
I want to make 'me' happy
with gratitude and appreciation,
saying 'I'm counting on you again today'
and 'Thank you for today'.

'Life is a strategy of making others happy'
'Contributing to others'is what I keep saying, but
'That person is me'
Saying that, 'Huh?'
What kind of nonsense are you writing? And so on,
please send your complaints to shogo-san, who passed the baton to me
(Just kidding, haha).
There are certainly many people I want to express gratitude to,
and many episodes where I have received joy,
and I do want to be someone
who can bring joy to others,
but after all, first of all, I want to make 'me'
happy...
Because I want to reach out with my best 'me' hand
to the warm hand that someone has extended to me.

Since this is a baton relay project,I'm passing the baton (requesting an article creation).
When it comes to 'joy',
I can't help but think of this person,
who seems to be more filled with this sentiment than anyone else.
In the world of note, the queen of freestyle, Laramie-tan.
Songs follow the world, and the world follows songs,
noter Laramie, appearing with a tiara on.
Laramie-tan,
Why not show us your most joyful steps?
I'm counting on you!
