24 Hours in Space
I found an interesting book at the library and borrowed it.
It's called "24 Hours in Space," and it seems to be a relatively new book (November 2024).
Author: Rob Lloyd Jones
Illustrator: Laurent Kling
Translation and Supervision: Kaoru Takeuchi
It's more for children—somewhere between a picture book and a comic—but it explains in an easy-to-understand way how astronauts spend their time on the ISS (International Space Station).
The content was quite interesting even for an adult to read. If you're a space enthusiast, you might already know most of it, but since it's a newer book, it describes current events on the ISS in a way that is fairly realistic despite being a comic, and I thought it was a great book.
It would be great to have books like this in school libraries. I really want children to feel that space is more accessible.
