Writing Teacher | Profile & Self-Introduction

I am Machika-sensei, a writing instructor and writer.

I created my account on note on June 29, 2024. I have been a writing teacher for 12 years and an editorial writer for 17 years. I love jobs that involve writing. Between my professional and personal life, I probably write tens of thousands of characters every day.

On note, I write about know-how for writing and editorial work in an essay style♪ I want to make my note articles easy to read and fun (*^-^*)

I was called Machika-sensei by everyone at my writing school, and before I knew it, I started referring to myself as Machika-sensei. My pen name as a writer and author is a secret♡

I love listening to people's stories. What kind of person they are, what they think, what they feel, and where they are trying to go. I find the "axis" within them and turn their values into a story.

The foundation for this is the philosophy I majored in as a student. While the thoughts of philosophers may seem to change over time in their works, I was told in my seminar, "Find what remains unchanged despite that."

I feel that interviewing is similar to sculpting. It is a steady process of digging out the outline of a person while listening to them talk.When the manuscript takes shape, I love the moment their expression lights up as they say, "Yes! That's exactly what I wanted to say!" or "So this is the kind of value I hold."

Writing School Third Place operates in Fukuoka and Kumamoto. I hope that writing schools become familiar enough that any child can easily attend one. For example, one in every school district (*^-^*). Currently, the base is "one in every ward," though.

I believe that if there were more writing instructors, we could achieve that♡ With that in mind, I am currently preparing to upgrade my assistant system, which was previously handled individually, into a certified instructor training system.

My business name is Ricprim. Actually, it comes from a mispronunciation my daughter made when she was little. She couldn't say "lip cream" properly, and it came out as "ricprim," which was so cute.

This is my 18th year as a freelance writer. While working as an editor and writer, I have also been hired as a full-time employee at town magazines and newspaper companies based on my experience. It is what you call a parallel career. I worked in an unusual way, "joining a company (mid-career) while still having a side job." It is interesting to be able to work in so many different ways, isn't it?

Currently, my work is split roughly 3:5:2 between writing, teaching, and authoring.

I love teaching how to write, doing writing work, and listening to people to help shape their stories. I hope to have wonderful encounters on note. I am available for both corporate projects and requests from individuals.

By building up note, I can see 'who I am'. That is what I think. To the next stage through the power of writing. This is a motto I also value in my work.

note can be used in many ways, but in my case, I treat it as 'writing articles on note as a work that serves as a business card'. I hope it becomes a catalyst for writing classes to spread further, for parents and children who search for help with writing to find me, and if possible, for them to smile when they read it.

▶ Just as there are work-related novels, it would be nice to have work-related essays, right?
