[Weekly Short-Short Note] Prayer for a Double Fracture

"We cannot pay out the insurance for this."

I was stunned by the insurance company's response.

"It must be a 'double fracture,' not just a 'fracture,' for the insurance money to be paid. It is exactly as explained here."

Who would read such small print?
But since it says 'double fracture' in the contract, there is nothing I can do.

I immediately went to a shrine,
and wrote 'Prayer for a double fracture' firmly on an ema.
If I could break another bone while I already have a fracture, it would be a profit.

I also wrote my name and address.
I heard that otherwise, it wouldn't reach the gods.

As I put my hands together and walked down the shrine steps, my feet got tangled, and I tumbled down spectacularly.
