"Lulu the Hot Water Bottle" - Poem: A work participating in the "Rest on the Fluffy Star" project

I participated in Hayashippu's project, "Rest on the Fluffy Star."

🐶🐶🐶🐶🐶🐶🐶🐶🐶🐶🐶🐶🐶🐶🐶🐶🐶🐶

Lulu, who lives in my house,
is super timid
and shy,
a little older than me.

I share my snacks
with Lulu, half and half.
She loves apples
and eats them with a crunch.

When I sit down, she immediately
climbs onto my lap.
The neighbors are
amazed at how much of a spoiled brat she is,
even putting cats to shame.

If she meets a praying mantis
on the road, she makes a huge fuss.
She goes into a total panic,
begging to be picked up.

The new trick she learned is "Chin."
When I say, "Lulu, chin,"
she rests her chin on my palm.

Mom says, "What a plain trick.
Can't she do anything else?"

When it gets cold at night,
she secretly sneaks
into my bed.
When I hold her, she
acts just like
a hot water bottle.

However, the big difference
from a "regular hot water bottle" is
that "Lulu the hot water bottle"
warms my heart as well,
letting me rest peacefully.

But if Mom finds us,
it's a hot water bottle that's hard to make excuses for.

Dad says this hot water bottle
is hard to get even online.

I told Santa Claus
to consider it for a Christmas present! (Yay!)
