How to make a cardboard remake smartphone case This is the final installment (out of 5). You've made it this far. Completion is right before your eyes!
Step 8: Sew the card case to the outer shell
Sew the card case made in Step 7 to the outer shell made up to Step 6. Sew the flap securely as well.


(By the way, the illustration on the surface is a remake of a calendar by Hajime Okamoto.)
Step 9: Finish the edges
Trim the edges with a cutter and sandpaper (around 400 grit), then apply a thin layer of glue to finish them off.

Once you stick on the plastic part to hold the smartphone using strong double-sided tape, it's finished! Phew. You did a great job.
Afterword
Looking back, the only slightly difficult part was cutting out the pieces; everything else was relatively easy. The finished product looks pretty good, so please try making one yourself using your favorite cardboard or calendars!
