May Work Record
I'd like to share a casual report on my work in May.
■ Online Secretary
Worked about 15 hours
= 18,200 yen
Just like last month, there was a lot of waiting for the outsourcing partner and the client, so my working hours didn't increase as much as I had hoped.
I am currently in the stage of moving toward a new business, so it was a month with a lot of behind-the-scenes preparation.
There is a lot of invisible work like image creation, interviews, and research, but I feel like I am moving forward little by little.
■ Restaurant Part-time Job
1,200 yen × 3.5 hours × 6 days
= 25,200 yen
I've gradually gotten a feel for the 'right distance' with the head chef, and I'm able to work stress-free.
(That said, I still feel a good amount of tension every time.)
Arranging plates, plating food, washing dishes.
Even in the monotonous work, there are moments where I am soothed by the aroma of the food and the beauty of the tableware, so I like this job after all.
■ Mercari
= 1,000 yen
I didn't do 'one listing per day' this month.
Last month, things sold unexpectedly well and I felt like I had worked hard, so I took a break.
That said, two items I listed last month sold.
If I don't check notifications properly, it's easy to put it off because there are so many messages from clients, outsourcing partners, school, daycare, etc.
I still have a mountain of my daughters' nice hand-me-downs, so I'd like to restart when I have more breathing room.
■ May Family Situation (This was the hardest part)
From the end of May to the beginning of June, my second daughter caught human metapneumovirus and strep throat.
From there, it was a perfect relay of pathogens from the eldest daughter to my husband, and then to me.
Ah, it was truly exhausting.
I had to take antibiotics for the first time in years, so I am currently weaning.
My breastfeeding life with my second daughter also seems to be ending with this.
(I want to write about this somewhere else again.)
■ Other Seed Sowing
・I also count creating note articles as my working hours.
・Assuming I launch my own business for women's support, I am also steadily working on researching loan amounts from the Japan Finance Corporation, how to write business plans, and seminars and study groups while the kids are at daycare.
The amount I can earn from this is still 0 yen,
but I continue to do it thinking of it as time for my future self.
■ Summary
So,
my total income for May was 44,400 yen.
I would like to increase my online secretary work a bit more, but given the family health issues, I think it was a month where I did my best within my capabilities.
Thank you for reading until the end.
