Even if I'm slow or unskilled, I knit with 'good yarn'

Isn't yarn way too expensive??
I saw a program featuring the recent knitting boom, and it made me want to knit for the first time in a while, so I was browsing yarn online. I hadn't noticed because I'd been using leftover yarn whenever I felt like knitting over the past few years, but the price of yarn is insanely high. It's expensive, way too expensive.
If prices keep going up like this, knitting is going to become a hobby for the wealthy.

I was obsessed with knitting for a while.
I love knitting, but no matter how many years I've been doing it, my knitting speed is incredibly slow. I'm not very bright, so I spend a lot of time agonizing over knitting patterns. On top of that, my stitches tend to be tight and uneven, so even when I knit sweaters or vests, the flaws are obvious. That's why I only ever knitted small items like hats, bags, and stuffed animals that don't take too much time and where flaws are less noticeable.

Even with simple stockinette stitch, I'm incredibly slow, so it takes a very long time to finish anything.
That is precisely why, even though I'm unskilled, I've always knitted with "good yarn" that justifies that long time spent.
That won't change in the future.

The definition of "good yarn" probably depends on the person, but for me, it means yarn that I didn't choose just because it was cheap. It's yarn that makes me feel good just looking at it and feels pleasant to the touch. Naturally, the price ends up reflecting that.

When it comes to good yarn, there's nothing like ROWAN.
The ROWAN yarn I've always admired is just wonderful. Even just seeing the "ROWAN" logo makes my heart flutter. I could stare at it through my computer screen forever, thinking, "That one is nice, and that one is nice too."

While I was thinking only about Rowan, I remembered the show "Dark Angel" that I was obsessed with a long time ago. It was broadcast on the TV Asahi network, but it was suddenly canceled in the second season, and I was devastated at the time.
Despite being so obsessed with it, the only cast members whose faces I can clearly recall are Max, Zack, Joshua, and Rowan.
Rowan... Rowan... I was picturing the handsome guy in glasses in the wheelchair, but it wasn't Rowan, it was Logan.
What was that all about, right?
